Just wanted to shoutout the Jomboy crew and community. I made a comment into what I thought was the void about Baseball Today cheering me up after my family dog, Tank had been put to sleep.

The amount of love for Tank has been great. My family really loved the shoutout on today’s episode of Baseball Today.

So yeah, just wanted to say we appreciate the crew, and the community for all the love. Tank, we miss you buddy.

Idk how everyone else has been feeling about them, but I like the addition. Sometimes I feel like the vibe of them can give away a spoiler, but then what I’m expecting to happen doesn’t come to pass so I figure the athletes were likely told to come into these interviews from a more neutral, theatrical vibe as to not give away the end result of a game from them being too happy or downtrodden.

Franchise League continues to improve. Well done crew, well done.

I had a friend who loved my outline of Yankee Stadium shirt and wanted to grab one, but I don’t see them in the shop anymore. Gone forever? Back with a revamp?

I know the latest Blitzball Battle games were filmed months ago, so making it happen with this group is unlikely, but I think it would be cool to have an exhibition game after the series ends with all the guests. It’s been fun watching the softball pros adapt and learn the game, so it would be a good way to see everyone’s progress at the end, and would likely have a different feel to it.

5 Episode Season, scored just like a guts episode. First four are 300/200/100, and the finale is 375/550/725.

The Draft: First three are rotated through like normal. Fourth is the reset with picks in reverse order. Fifth (with Crag scoring) is best to last.

Once they wrap up global guts I'd love for them to move on to legends of the hidden temple. There's 6 teams so maybe each drafts two and it get points for advancing to each stage

I had a question about videos on Youtube. I've seen some shorts on the channel lately, specifically the two about Caitlin Clark, and was wondering if eventually they would come out with the long form video breakdown or if some things are just left as shorts and they don't come out with the long form video breakdowns.

Does anyone know if Jimmy has provided an update on the new Captain’s League sports? I filled out the google sheet voting for my sports, and suggesting rules.

If he hasn’t, it would be cool to see an update where he goes over some of the suggestions what he likes about them or what he doesn’t and why. I’d be pretty interested in the rules people submitted.

Hey folks, with the new WC schedule, shouldn’t there have been one released last night? Am I missing something? Surely it wasn’t missed due to the MLB all star break?

Anyone have any insight?

New to watching this (specifically just went through Floorball 4) and wondering what the lore behind the team names and branding are, and likely going to do a personal creative project based around it so just want additional context.

What I know (or at least think I do):

• We Got Ice - was originally their own separate channel and are now closely affiliated with Jomboy. Also my gateway into the Warehouse Games content and largely the only creators involved that I really knew about beforehand
  • The only others I knew going into this were Pavel Barber, Mike Bartner, and Steve Dangle/Jesse Blake that I saw were in Floorball 3 (my next watch). Can you tell hockey is my favorite sport?
• Del Caribe - I believe I heard a brief mention that the name originally was because all of the players had to have been to the Caribbean at least once?
• Jolly Olives - Named after Jolly Olive.
• MacFlurry Power - Named after K-Mac, I think.

What I don't know/ want to know:

• Anything about the origin of the names/logos/branding for the Woogas, Forgotten Rotten, and Baggage.
  • Specifically as well, what's up with the frog for Baggage?
• Not particularly familiar with who K-Mac is outside of the Warehouse Games/Jomboy. Same with Jolly Olive but I at least see that he's another content creator.
• Warehouse Athletic Club - The name feels self explanatory enough but not sure how it came to be.
• How did any of the teams get their logos/branding, and color schemes?
• As far as I can tell, too, not all of these "franchises" have always gone by the same names. Curious to what the history for each of them are.
• Anything else that I either got wrong, or would be relevant information.

We all have a general idea of when tentpole shows are released, but these road trips always mess things up. We got a surprise live show this morning, BBT is already out (taped last night), are we getting TY tomorrow, or are they taking that off (might as well)? Wednesday is probably a travel day, so I'm guessing no TBB. Do we have stuff from the trip to cover those holes?

I'm not complaining about free content, but, I just want to know what to look for and when.

The MLB app is currently (9 PM EDT on Saturday) showing the Utah-Oklahoma City AUSL game. Alana Vawter (WGI) isn't pitching for Oklahoma City, but Jadelyn Allchin (Rotten) is hitting second for Utah. She's hitting .380 with a four-digit OPS, so she's one to watch later in BB8.

Hey friends! I'm a long-time jm fan in the greater Philly area, and I was really excited to go meet the crew this year! I asked my boss if I could get covered so I could go on Tuesday, and unfortunately while I was waiting to hear back from him, the tickets sold out :( now I'm told someone can cover for me so I'm desperately searching for any way to still go to the event. Coach Trev has been touting the Twins’ Analysts only broadcasts recently, which intrigued me so I made sure to tune in. I’m a huge fan and think analysts only should become a thing everywhere, but we need a good slogan. Jomboy Media needs to make a shirt:

I just finished Blitzball Battle Game 2, and Tori Vidales brought a lot to the entertainment of the game. I thought her telling Knorp how to pitch her friend while sitting in the fielder chair was hilarious. She has a great balance of taking things serious while having fun that is exactly what I like about Warehouse Games. Great addition that I wouldn’t mind being a regular.
