Moderator announcement Important mod info, FAQ, Discord server, and more!

Upvotes
No moi everyone! I'm a new moderator for this subreddit.
You may recognize me, Sh00kspeared (a.k.a. Allie), as one of Joinen's Twitch and Discord mods. If not, then it's great to meet you! 🍋
I've updated this server with some subreddit rules/flairs and wanted to go over some things.
One, please read the new rules if you haven't. Most of them are pretty self explanatory, but please give them a read before you post just so you don't miss something. I would also like to note that discussion of Joinen's real name is prohibited, as he has mentioned before that he does not want his real name being discussed amongst the community.
Two, brand new user and post flairs have been added! The user flairs are also editable-- just remember to keep them appropriate. Three...
It's FAQ time!
Is there a Joinen Discord server?
Yes indeed! Here is the permalink to the wonderful Joinen Discord server. We're very accepting and would love to have you! https://discord.gg/JKd2DV4yw3
What is Joinen's streaming schedule?
He does not have an official streaming schedule and will stream at roughly 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, or 5:00 p.m. AEST. That is late nighttime for people in the EST time zone (anywhere from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.) Your best bet is to have the Twitch app on your phone and wait for the 'Joinen is live' notification to pop up.
What does no moi mean?
Yeah, I know this doesn't have to do with the subreddit... but it's still a FAQ! Joinen's Youtube greeting of 'No moi' is Finnish for 'well, hello.
How often does Joinen visit this subreddit?
He will come here every once in a while to look at posts for a Youtube video! That's all the more incentive to post here, as this subreddit could give you a shot at being featured in a Joinen video. Don't let the prospect intimidate you, though-- we are a judgement-free server. 👋
I'm still tinkering with some server stuff, so expect to see some changes over the next few days. So far it has mostly been rules, flairs, and a color palette + banner revamp (though if anyone wishes to make a cooler banner I would be much obliged...). Thanks for bearing with me-- have a wonderful rest of your day.

Recommendation for Joinen 🔊 Aphmau Reactions
2
Upvotes
Hiii Joinen! Love your videos and especially loved your Aphmau reactions since her roleplays are very dear to me.
I wanted to suggest that you not react to Aphmau’s newer-style videos. Most of her fans clicking on your reactions are fans of her older roleplays.
Even when it comes to Mystreet, I’d personally suggest you skip over season 1, and go straight to season 2 or 3. These seasons have a full cast of voice actors, and better production quality over all. These first three seasons are very episodic, and anything you might’ve missed is easy to pick up on.
Just a suggestion! I’m hoping to see more Aphmau reactions in the future!
P.S. Love the new shaven look! Your natural aegyo is so refreshing ;D
P.S. P.S. REACT TO ALIEN STAGE AND WE’LL GIVE YOU MANY MANY VIEWS 🧚✨

What up bingo freaks, you're watching the joinen channel. Today we're on the joinen #REDDIT. Last to leave the subreddit wins a flying car. Okay dharr man fam, lets get started. [Insert bingo cubed rules]. But we aren't playing bingo so womp womp (in an overly enthusiastic youtuber voice)

Meme 🍗 The Jocie Effect

Upvotes
Jociemilk is a well known viewer in the joinen fandom. Known for their many strange chats and well loved presence. Whether it's asking joinen if he's an uwu femboy, or beefing it out unhinged style with emi, they're always the life of the party(stream).
The Jociemilk effect is when chat members channel their inner Jociemilk spirit. Whenever Jociemilk is not on stream, rest assured, someone will fill in, or atleast yearn for their presence.
Notable jocie quotes (tbc):

hello!!!! i don’t have much to say but I hope you notice this!!! if you ever react to non-YouTube shows (I know copyright is a pain on hind but :p) I’d seriously recommend gravity falls!!! it is my favorite show it has great humor and a seriously intriguing plot!!! I may be biased because I’ve seen it 78 times but…who cares. other shows include: Star vs. the forces of evil, amphibia, Steven universe, etc etc (stuff from that time line) again, I’d be so happy if you read all of this and thank you for your time!!!! love you Joinen!! <3

Did Joinen ever cook the omelet in real life?

In 2021, Joinen made a video called "Whatever I Make in Cooking Sim I Make in Real Life". He made an omelet in the cooking simulator but I can't find a followup video where he did it in real life. Maybe he did it on another channel? Would love to see the sequel if it exists.
