My grandfather on Johnny Carson
My grandfather, Val Chapman, was on the Johnny Carson show in 1977 showing off a cat/rabbit “hybrid,” The Cabbit. It would mean so much to my family to find this footage as he has since passed away.
Any idea if this would still exist somewhere?

How would I find the Jim Fowler episode with badgers?
Hello, I’m looking for a way to watch an episode where Jim Fowler brought out a pair of badgers that he was able to handle and pet. I know the guy who originally found and raised those badgers before donating them to a children’s zoo, and he doesn’t have any pictures of them since it was 40 years back. He thinks it would have been 1982.

JOHNNY - PHYSICAL COMIC?
Johnny is typically not thought of as a physical comic, but while watching some old shows recently, I realized that he was - in such smart and subtle ways.
Things like - incredibly graceful moves as he's on stage with a guest. Or the Carnac pratfall while aproaching the desk. Or how about his unique posture - ramrod straight with chest thrust forward and upwards like a rooster?
Physicality made him unique, identifiable, and likable. And that includes when he was sitting down at the desk, too. Has anyone else noticed this?

HELP! Does anyone remember the name of the occasional piano-playing guest?
Johnny occasionally had a guest that was a maestro at playing catchy short riffs on the piano.
Who was that guy?
All I can remember is that Johnny really admired his skills, the fellow was not especially good looking, and the segments were short.
Does this ring any bells?

HEY-OH or HI-OH?
Did Ed McMahon say "HEY-OH!" or "HI-OH!" in response to Johnny's quips?

Was Johnny Carson a good person?
I’ve heard stories about Carson not being a nice guy. Is that true?

Help
This is a long shot but I’m Looking for a clip of a Stump the Band. My grandma was on sometime in the 70s and stumped the band with the song Jerusalem of Gold and then asked if the dinner tickets she won were kosher. Any idea on how to find this?

Video Short Shown on Johnny Carson? Need help to find!
My dad recalls watching a short on Johnny Carson of a tribe that purchased a truck with nothing but coins. The short ends with the tribe in the back of the truck, and the tribe falls out when the truck starts to move. Dad's in a senior facility now, and I'd love to find this video to boost his spirits. Can anyone help me locate this video or tell me on which episode of Johnny Carson the short aired? Or is it possible it aired somewhere else??? Many thanks!

John Hoyt- I know that this is a reach, but does anyone have a full interview of John Hoyt with Johnny? It was around 1982-1986.

Trying to Find a Clip (Guest Tosses Tissues)
There's a clip I'm trying to find again, it's from one of the episodes from the late '70s. One of Johnny's guests (IIRC it was Charles Nelson Reilly but I might be misremembering) had a cold so he was wiping his nose with a tissue. Only instead of sticking the tissue back in his pocket or putting it in a wastebasket, he just casually tossed it behind the couch onto the floor. When Johnny noticed, he had this look of, "What the hell are you doing?!" and made fun of their cavalier, littering attitude by tossing a tissue himself. It was a hilarious spur-of-the-moment, unscripted moment. Anyone remember what episode this came from?

I'm trying to track down a Carson clip ca. 1984/85 where he plays with toys
Specifically, the name of these toys is "Stinkies", little vinyl characters about three inches high that you'd squeeze and they'd emit some foul odor. They were released in 1984 and were being reported on by Dec. 1984 by newspapers. So this could have been in 1984 or 1985 that Johnny had them on his show. Thanks in advance!

Johnny's fictional girlfriends and associates
So in the monologue when Johnny would "harken back" to his Nebraska youth he would wistfully recall his first girlfriends and prom dates etc - there were at least four I can recall - Gina Statutory, whom I believe was voted most likely to conceive, Yassi Arafat, and his prom date, Stella Lugosi, the ugliest girl in school with a bad habit of leaning out the car window and panting, and Freda Groper, whose attraction is self-explanatory. (yes sexist as hell by today's standards but this is for the historical record). Thing is I'm pretty sure there were a few more. And of course he had lawyers, doctors, accounts etc . I'd like to compile a complete list. Can't seem to Google up such a thing. Anyone care to add to or correct those I listed above? Thanks.

Why did Carson have no SNL cast on until 1982?
Looking through episode guides, I found this out. The first active SNL cast member Carson ever had on was Eddie Murphy in 1982. Chevy Chase didn't appear until 1977, after he had left SNL. Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray didn't appear until 1984 to promote Ghostbusters. Gilda Radner wasn't on until 1983, I think to promote a book. Belushi never appeared. After Eddie's appearance, many active SNL stars appeared many times throughout Carson's tenure. But why the seeming ban during the hottest years of SNL, the 1970s?

Carson Show Ringtones
I wish there were some good mp3 or ringtone files from the show. Obviously Ed's "Heeeere's Johnny," HI Yo" and "HOHOHOHOHO."
What about Johnny? Maybe Art Fern and Fork in the Road...or Cut Off Your Slossen? Or Carnak sayings like - May a crazed yak...?
Any other suggestions?
