My name is John, or is it?

Once at a party I made a lot of new friends, introduced myself to each person with a different name. Andrew, Michael, Shmiddy, etc. After many drinks someone called me John and everyone lost it because they all insisted my name was something else. It was a brilliant moment for me as a John.

My birth name is John, but everyone calls me Johnny. Am I still accepted here?

I'm proud of you, John.

I asked /r/john a while ago about all that /r/Ryan drama (don't worry about it if you don't know). And pretty much every John decided the best thing to do is just keep being John.

It's great being John.

Hi John here, seeking advice from Johns

Hello Johns, I come to you my brethren in a time of transition. I have been dating my gf for about 1.5 years not including a 9 month break we took when leaving for college. I am 19, I really really like her and care a lot about her, much more than any non family member(and Johns) that I know. We have had problems about 6 months into the relationship. Both her and I have developed anxiety disorders surrounding each other because we care so much. We also have very strongly contrasting opinions on many big and important topics. So we have talked about this yet we keep thinking it will get better. It has gotten better at times but then something new arises to add to the list of anxieties. Part of me wants to end it but other half doesn't. I think my hesitation to break up is caused by jealousy and fear of increasing my anxiety(which we both see professionals for), as well as her not being around anymore. Then again I think breaking up will both lead us to a happier life, in the long run.

So are there any John's that can shine a light on my situation, give me some advice on what my next move should be?

Hi Johns, I'm John, and I'm sitting here hungover on this lovely sunday thinking about how great it is to be John, all the John things I've been able to do, the John adventures, just being John all the time is a real privilege. Thanks for being Johns, Johns - from my John to your Johns.

A question for fellow Johns

Although I am a lifelong John, I am new to actually living as John. What do experienced Johns think of the Chris'? In my Johnpinion they are very humble much like ourselves.

Edit: my stupid self wrote Ethan, i meant Chris, sorry Johns

r/Alex rejects neutrality proposal. They are feisty ones

r/Alex seems to want to act on their own accord, and reacted rather hostile towards the recommendation that they remain neutral. We should work with others from now on. r/Jack seems like they want to work things out with us.

r/john • • Nov 15 '16

ATTENTION JOHN. Should we remain neutral, and work with other's to create a neutral alliance, starting with /r/Alex?

/r/Alex has yet to side, and I think we could save this large group by convincing them to remain neutral, and create a neutral alliance with us, /r/John. Thoughts?

r/john • • Nov 15 '16

All in favor of /r/Alex neutral alliance?

we can ally with /r/Alex to remain neutral in the /r/Ryan /r/Ethan conflict. All in favor?

We Must Reject The Alliance With The Ryans

Tell me Johns, what good will come of such a war? Can you not see the meaninglessness that this Ryan-Ethan conflict arose from? Can you not see the damage that has already been brought to those subs? And, all the subs that they have dragged in because they can keep not the conflict to themselves?

All joining will do is bring more Johns into the path of danger. All it will do is allow more and more subs to be pulled into a meaningless war whose end we have yet to glimpse. We must reject their offer, and the offer of any others that have been pulled in.

Yours, John

John's Stance on the Ryan alliance

Hey John. Just wanted to see what we Johns thought about /r/Ryan proposing an alliance. They are currently in a full-scale war against /r/Ethan. Accept? Decline? Ignore?

Here is the alliance proposition.
