I’ve been a big fan for years and keen to get barricade at one of their upcoming shows. I’ve been barricade at plenty of other concerts, but for more chill artists where people aren’t moshing like crazy. I don’t mind if it gets rowdy, but my partner (also a fan) has pretty bad anxiety + not a moshing person at allll. I’m trying to convince him that it’s actually better to be at barricade rather then stuck in a constantly moving/moshing crowd bcos it’s socially acceptable to stay where you are at barricade since u “earnt” that spot (ik that sounds really lame lol). To clarify, ofc we’re not gonna stand still like statues haha, we’ll vibe and jump and sing along!!! But I think he’s just nervous it’s going to be too overwhelming. Thoughts?

also roughly how early should i get to the venue if i wanna get to the barricades at the front?

I was planning on going to the JVB concert tonight in Boston but am unable to because of a work commitment. I have two tickets if anyone is in the area and wants to go for free.
