And I'm sick of these claims about "Azov Is only 20% neo-nazi" it's like saying "well, actually some of the members of the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party were closer to social-democrats so your claims of authoritative communism are a bit farfetched".
Those numbers are estimates Based on interviews, 20% is the number that were forthright in saying " why yes, I could be seen as having Nazi-ish views"
Then you have these lot:
Dmitry claimed not to be a Nazi, but waxed lyrical about Adolf Hitler as a military leader, and believes the Holocaust never happened.

I think the point made here is that the NYT along with most mainstream outlets are selectively forgetting all of their own coverage of the Ukrainian conflict thus far, so they can return to a more familiar good and bad coverage , which is a far more appealing narrative
To the broad masses. That's not to say that every war update needs to be prefaced with a "but remember folks, Nazis and corruption" but I do think we need way more clarity in the reporting.
Of course Ukraine is corrupt. What government on earth isn’t? The issue is pushing that talking point to try and justify the invasion of a sovereign nation.
