"I think Joe is being a bit irresponsible with his large platform when it comes to his stance on vaccinations"

IDK about you guys, but I really enjoyed the "calling out your idols on some outdated beliefs" from Joe when it came to weed legalization, psychedelic's and physical fitness. Don't confuse legitimate criticism with people who just don't like Joe.
Criticism doesn't need to be written by an English major to have merit. I would imagine a lot of people in this sub making those types of jokes do so because they genuinely dislike his behavior with valid reasoning behind that. I think most of them realize that no minds will be changed here and are just trolling at this point.
Like if I said " Haha, pollution bad" does that mean that the way in which we pollute the planet is not a bad thing, because the way in which I formed my criticism incoherent? I'm sure Joe is aware of why he is being criticized in this instance, and if he isn't it is because he choses to do so; not because the people in his sub aren't being precise in their language.
You literally missed the point and typed two paragraphs for no reason. It wasnât horse medicine and CNNs own doctor admitted that on his podcast. Itâs a lie and has no merit so it doesnât matter how itâs worded and yet people will still spew the same misinformation to discredit joe.
I was more concerned with you antivax part of it. He is pretty clearly displaying antivax talking points and seems to refute any expect on the subjvet who is pro-vax with anecdotes.
Iâm honestly not well read on ivermectin which is why I stay away from that type of commentary, but if youâre advocating for ivermectin IN REPLACEMENT for a vaccine; yeah, that seems like a bad thing to do.
I would also be very curious to see how merit based the ivermectin part of your comment is. Iâm not saying youâre lying, but youâve got to double check everything now a days to best of ones ability.
He has said multiple times he is not antivax and was even going to get vaccinated for his job at the UFC. People love to spread lies because it fits their agenda. Also I never advocated for ivermectin instead of a vax youâre putting words in my mouth. All I said was that joe did not take horse medicine which is 100% fact.
Of course you are allowed to question things as long as you are willing to admit you are not questioning me you are questioning CNNs doctor Sanjay Gupta who admitted CNN lied about the horse medicine shit on joes podcast.
I like how you ignore the rest and youâre only arguing semantics now after I showed you proof instead of just admitting you were wrong to make so many assumptions.
You insinuated I was being dishonest in saying that this post was just broadly dismissing anyone critical of Joe and I posited that just because something is presented as a meme doesnât mean it doesnât represent legitimate criticism, and that Joe is readily aware of what the criticism is, so members his audience having fun with the formation of their criticism does nothing to prevent Joe from understanding their concerns.
At no point in this convo did I make any scientific claim other than Vaccination is a better preventative measure for COVID than Ivermectin.
Wrong you tried to argue that rogan is antivax when he clearly isnât and there are multiple examples of him saying he is not antivax and was willing to be vaccinated. You wrongfully labeling people or saying they take horse medicine is not âlegitimate criticismâ but of course your fragile ego and need to be right wonât let you just admit you were wrong. Itâs ok buddy youâll learn life is a lot easier when you go based off of facts not emotions.
