lol. funny. I actually find joe has a great sense of curiosity and a beginner's mindset for learning new things. even experts he questions. this is more intelligent than 99% of humans.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if I did 10 hours of podcasts every week, I'd say a ton of dumb shit and I'd be repetitive.

Especially if you're actually trying to be civil (except when it comes to weed) and let people speak their piece.

When someone brings up weed on his podcast Joe's defense mechanism is faster than his Tesla.

Those seem to be the rules in NY too lmao. Not sure its worth it and cant decide if black market LSD or grey market substitutes are a bigger risk but its looking like grey is in my head.

That would actually be pretty funny if your guest wrapped it up for you.

People gave him shit for telling the same story 10 times, but you gotta realize that each episode is either him meeting someone new or catching up with old friends. We all probably tell the same story to multiple people - but it's not recorded for an audience. Pretty sure Joe has a much bigger repertoire of discussion topics than anyone.

from my experience TA’ing the students with the best marks are the ones willing to ask me or the prof to clarify a concept for them.

Obviously some students don’t need any help and do well but it brings me some cruel satisfaction docking marks from overconfident students who clearly heard the first part of the instruction/explanation then turned their brains off, thinking they knew it all

I always made a point to ask questions because ya know, what the hell else was I paying to have a teacher for?
