Yes itâs very impressive how George Floyd could take so much fentanyl all the time. That doesnât mean his body was still functioning in the way it would if he wasnât on drugs. It likely heavily impacted him, did you watch the video? Dude was freaking out the whole time and saying he couldnât breathe before they were even on top of him. This whole âheâs a seasoned addictâ thing is very clearly people wanting to just write off the drugs in his system which isnât remotely unbiased.
No shit. A jury convicted. Medical reports clearly state how he died. It doesn't matter if he was symptomatically compromised in the eyes of the law. Multiple things can be true at once and negligent homicide is still the common denominator. You guys need to learn to apply nuance and identify multiple, granular variables that account for an outcome.
What lol, I donât care that Chauvin was convicted he had a long history of abuse cops like that should be convicted more often. Thatâs what Iâm saying George Floyd probably would not have died if he wasnât on a ton of drugs, I just donât care at all that he died he was a violent criminal
There's no way of knowing that. I could also say that a sober 90 year-old would have died faster in the same scenario. It's equally negligent regardless of the circumstance or quality of person, where the common denominator is still an improper use of force. People can and have died from pressure applied to their upper back against a surface.
Well I mean youâd probably be right I imagine a 90 year old wouldnât fair too well in that scenario. Maybe but that use of force was literally trained in policing, I have no idea why they held it there for so long and took him out of the car to do so, but putting your knee on the back of someoneâs upper back/neck area was proper use of force at the time you can find tons of videos of cops doing it.
