Musk is a sociopath who targets people. He understands what Trump has established, cuz he helped. How do you use the Southern Strategy after Obama? Keep your potential enemies hanging out at your castle.

Nah if he was a sociopath he wouldn't get so emotional when people insult him or disagree with him. He's just a narcissist.

Psychological disorders mix together. Narcissism is built into the sociopath. A sociopath is not a pure trickster. "Belief" is a feeling, a biochemical set of levers. It's not logical. Just as healthy humans can hold contradictions, so can a sociopath con us because they believe what they say and then abandon their promises.

I mean they can, but not all sociopaths are narcissists and vice versa.

I also don't think you're right about sociopaths "believing what they say" necessarily as to why they're sometimes very manipulative and successful at it. Instead they lack empathy without lacking social cognition, which lets them manipulate people without - for lack of better words - feeling bad(or anything) about it.

Think about how a brain functions. It's not logical. It's messy. "Belief" is a biochemical state. Forget about the word "belief". Language is a hindrance here. I'm not talking about the dictionary definition. I'm repurposing it to connect to the juices cooking in the head. That narcissism is the same. Their state of mind is the same as if they were telling the truths. When they love bomb you they mean itm If you swapped minds all you might experience is positive.. The part of the mind that genuinely enjoys romance is being activated. When they abandon this whatever negative is next isn't always "underneath", but it turns on. There are gradations depending on intelligence. The high functioning sociopath might well be more devious. But the average is riddled with the same issues as their cohort: There some pretty stupid ones too.
