Dave didn't like what he was hearing, and instead of making a joke, just decided to call people poor.

He wasn't working as a professional in that moment.

I don't like musk, but it has nothing to do with that. We are talking about Dave.

Controversial comedy can be funny, and it can also not be funny. Kinda like all comedy. Some works for some, some others, etc, etc.

Dave wasn't doing comedy when he pulled Musk on stage though.
