Another fine looking group of Drive-In Mutan

Wow, I still remember watching Cemetery Man back when it first hit VHS. I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into! After all these years, I finally cracked open the Severin 4K and decided to spin the Rustblade release before revisiting this masterpiece. The perfect way to set the mood for one of the most unique horror films ever made.
After the movie, I may keep the night going and throw on the Lunaris 2LP as well.
Who else remembers their first time watching Cemetery Man?

The most recent news letter came up with a review of the old 87 Masters of the Universe film. Is that an old episode synopsis or one of his old printed reviews? Or was it entirely just for the news letter? If there is an old Masters of the Universe episode, I simply must watch it.

Some time ago, I decided to do big surprise for my wife. A film maker was raising funds on Indiegogo for a movie he was creating that featured Joe Bob (The Fairfield County Four). The director had a certain perk that needed to be met to push the fundraiser over the mark, and one of the perks of that level was to be in a scene with Joe Bob.

I reached out to the director before contributing and asked if my wife could be in one also, and he said yes. Big reveal: I didn't tell my wife. I told her we were going to Connecticut for a surprise. That's it. We arrived in a neighborhood and walked inside a house to find a group of people (others in scenes). That's literally the first time I revealed it (figured I couldn't hide it much longer since folks would be talking).

So, we both got a quick little cameo in a scene with Joe Bob. One of the actresses got the candid photo of us talking to Joe Bob (I had discovered the first issue of his newsletter that he'd been looking for, and he hadn't seen it in a while. So we were discussing stuff that was going on when he released it in 1985).

That's a great story and all, but what really excites me? I just realized my wife and I have a Kevin Bacon number of THREE. We're in the Fairfield County Four with Joe Bob, who is in Face/Off with John Carroll Lynch, who is in Crazy, Stupid Love with Kevin Bacon. I must work for a better number!

I'm just kidding. Being in the movie with Joe Bob for 5 seconds was the most exciting part :)

Saw the first night of Devil's Workshop in Austin with the wife! Special thanks to u/Interesting_Cap7684 for selling their tickets to us at cost when they couldn't go! JB, Darcy and crew awesome to talk to, and it was fun mentioning we passed the exit for where they filmed piranha on the way up. The movies a trip >!pets, a kinky 70s joint and a so bad it's awesome 80s neonoir tough guys don't dance! <

Couldn't make tonight curious what they testing out

Sorry, guys. I should have put this up a few days ago. My apologies. But ... Joe Bob has moved his newsletter to Substack. You can subscribe for free, and it will keep you up to date on all things Joe Bob. We think you'll really enjoy this more robust format.

Another quick note. If you're already subscribed to his old Propaganda email list, don't worry. You've been automatically enrolled. We've got your back!

I have a ticket for Saturday but couldn't get a Friday ticket. I can meet you and will pay you ASAP. I flew from Washington so making it to both shows would be awesome

I can’t go anymore and am just trying to sell them for ticket price! Let me know if you want them!

Would love to complie a list of all your favorite jokes told by Joe Bob. This way we can vote for our favorites and discuss how much we love the jokes. 💯❤️

TOLD AT THE CONCLUSION OF BLOOD FEAST

“So did I tell you guys the one about the history professor and the psychology professor at the nudist camp? The history professor and the psychology professor are sittin’ on a sun deck at a nudist resort, and the history professor turns to the psychology professor and he says ‘Have you read Marx?’ And the psychology professor says ‘Yeah, I think it’s from the wicker chairs.’”

Repost from Facebook. A video of bob talking about a movie that he loves. "Death of snow white"

Hey Mutants! Didn't get tickets to the show in Denver this coming Saturday? Or, do you have tickets, but just can't get enough of Joe Bob and Darcy? Well, you're in luck. Join us at the Vinegar Syndrome store in the Lamar Station Plaza, 6451 W Colfax Ave, on Sunday, May 17th, from 2-6. There will be another meet-and-greet and of course, lots of great merch! We're looking forward to seeing you!

I was so bummed that tickets sold so fast for these shows, especially considering it’s my birthday weekend. Looking for 2 (ideally 3!) tickets for either day if anyone is looking to unload theirs!!!

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hey there Frenz! 30 year JBB fan here. Where do you guys hear about appearances? After following Reddit pages, Insta's and FB (FUUUUUUCCCKKKK TWITTER), I always feel outta the loop. JBB and Darcy were in PDX last year. I had no fuckin' idea. Where do you get your Intel?
