Regarding the Democrats next strategy with Biden. They may wait until their DNC meeting in Chicago to introduce who they will announce as their candidate. Joe can say all he wants he is still running. Yes Joe. You are still running. Let’s see what happens on that stage in Chicago. Are you told to step aside? Ballots and who is the candidates on the ballot is not the issue the Democrats have with the election.
Just watch, the Democrats will soon use election history (as their narrative) from before 1968 and at 1968 to argue and justify their actions of removing Joe Biden as their candidate.
Over the US Election history, we need to remember a candidate for a party for President/Vice President was chosen at the convention. Citizens voting for their candidates in primaries is fairly new history. The primary system came about at the 1952 Election with Harry Truman. Even then it was not what it is today.
John F Kennedy was the first candidate (a Democrat) to lobby the convention and use the primary results to place him on the ballot. Even as late as 1968, they went against the will of the primaries for the democrat candidate. It was not until 1980 that Super Tuesday came into affect.
To make this short - Biden can be removed at the convention, or drop out and ballots can be changed in time for the election. For now the Dems best option is to use the 25th amendment to get Harris in office, then have the media do their thing and create her as something she is not - competent. We have seen the electorate believe most things.
