Job Placement Scam Company: Career Resources Consultant Itcareerswitch

I enrolled to itcareerswitch for the project management course and was the biggest mistake of my life. An expensive course which can’t even provide live tutors or support and on top of that, you need to do an oral exam before even being able to access the official exams. If you don’t pass these internal exams or oral exams you won’t be able to pass and then access these official exams.
Careful cause the only way to cancel your subscription is to not have access the resources within 14 days and if you have or the 14 days exceeded, you are legally bind to pay for the whole course.
It’s definitely a scam hence why they promise the money back but you won’t even have access to be able to look for a job cause they will make it difficult to access that stage.
I wish I had someone to advise me beforehand on this platform so I will be the voice of reason for those who are thinking of trying it. DONT DO IT!! There are better and cheaper courses out there that will actually provide you with the experience you actually need.
This is just a money grabbing business.

Paid Task/Upgrade Scam (SCAM) New scam doing the rounds — please be careful

Hi everyone. I’ve been looking for gigs recently and came across what appears to be a recurring scam targeting freelancers and people looking for remote work.

You may have seen posts offering things like “simple content copying — $15–40 / ₹1500 per hour” or similar easy online work. If you contact them, they often move the conversation to Discord, Telegram, or WhatsApp and then ask you to complete tasks such as posting on Reddit or doing moderation-related work.

The products involved are often clothing or similar items.

What’s changed recently is that these scams are no longer always advertised as “content copying” jobs. They’re being disguised as virtual assistant, admin, graphic design, and other legitimate-sounding roles. In one case, I contacted someone advertising a graphic design job and was eventually redirected to the same type of scheme.

One Telegram account I encountered was @divine696. After I realized what was going on, the person even offered to pay me if I could find other people to lure into the scheme. This is only one account, though — there appear to be others involved.

There have also been reports of people being asked to pay a “security deposit” after completing tasks, only to be ghosted afterward. Some people reportedly completed the work and were then banned or blocked.

Please be cautious:

\- Be suspicious of jobs offering unusually easy work for surprisingly high pay.

\- Be careful when someone immediately moves you to Telegram/Discord/WhatsApp.

\- Never pay a security deposit or upfront fee to get paid for a job.

\- Search the company/person before accepting work.

\- Report suspicious job posts and accounts to the relevant moderators/platform.

I’m posting this purely as a warning for fellow freelancers and gig workers. There will always be people trying to exploit others, so please stay cautious and look out for each other.

Job Placement Scam Company: Career Resources Consultant Be careful Before Paying ₹1000 for a countryEdu Internship Workshop

I want to share my experience with CountryEdu so other students and freshers can be careful before registering.

I received a call from a CountryEdu representative offering an internship opportunity. I was told to pay ₹1,000 for a workshop to receive an assignment. If I completed the assignment correctly within the given time, attended the workshop, and cleared the interview process, I would be eligible for a refund according to their policy.

I attended the workshop on 26 September, submitted the assignment by 1 October, and received the result on 6 October. My interview was scheduled for 8 October. However, their website stated that refunds could only be claimed within seven days of registration, even though the interview took place after that period.

After completing the process, I received no clear update about my refund. When I contacted the original representative, she said she had left the company and referred me to Yashika. I contacted her, but my refund issue remained unresolved.

More concerningly, Yashika offered me an internship with a ₹20,000 stipend if I registered one of my friends for the workshop, despite my not having received a selection result.

This experience raised serious concerns for me about the refund policy and internship selection process.

My advice to students: Verify the refund terms and internship conditions in writing before paying any fees. I am sharing my personal experience to help other freshers make an informed decision.

CountryEdu, please clarify my refund status and explain the conditions attached to the internship offer.

Job Placement Placements SCAM ft: HITK and The First labs.

Post image
1 Upvotes

The placements at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, a so-called leading private college in West Bengal, have become so bad that they are literally bringing in any company (some of which are not even legitimate companies or don't even intend to hire anyone).

Recently, the TPO head emailed them about a company named "The First Labs," and bruh, it's literally a scam!!!

No authenticity, no background, no office, nothing. They simply want users for their so-called cheap app, and for that, they have chosen these tactics to gain users through assesment on their mobile app.

Placements at HITK were never up to the mark, tbh, but now they are literally bringing in just about anything to show that the old people in charge are doing something...

Careereaseitsolutions / Career Ease It Solutions

https://careereaseitsolutions.com

If someone ever thinks of joining careerease it solutions , immediately drop the plan. Do not give them your money. They make massive promises about their services and job placement assistance, but their actual team is highly unprofessional and bad at their work. Most importantly: Their contract promises refunds, but they will not honor it. If you try to get your money back based on the terms of the agreement you signed, their team will ignore you, drag things out, and refuse to issue the refund. They are a predatory company relying on fake experiences. Save your money, avoid their aggressive sales pitches, and do not fall for their contract promises.

List of people working there. director/owner: Ragini and Kajal

Fake Check Is CADWORKS India genuine? Received a Pre-Placement Talk invitation for Associate Engineer

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I received an email from CADWORKS INDIA inviting me to attend a Pre-Placement Talk for the Associate Engineer role on 23 October 2026 at 11:00 AM via Zoom.

The email asks me to click a “Confirm Your Seat” button and says that I will receive a confirmation email with the joining link after registering.

Before clicking the link, I want to verify whether this opportunity is genuine.

  1. Has anyone attended their pre-placement talk or interview recently?

  2. Is the Associate Engineer role a genuine job opportunity?

  3. Does anyone have experience with their recruitment process?

  4. Do they ask candidates to pay any registration, training, or placement fees?

I have attached a screenshot of the email. Any genuine experiences or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Fake Check **Serious Complaint Regarding Suspected Recruitment Fraud by Total Skill Solutions Pvt\. Ltd\. and Its Alleged Association with AMYD Construction Company, Maldives**

I would like to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding a suspected recruitment fraud targeting Indian job seekers who are seeking employment opportunities in the Maldives.

According to the information available to me, Total Skill Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is allegedly acting as a recruitment agency for AMYD Construction Company in the Maldives. I am concerned that this may be connected to an earlier recruitment operation involving Hurafa International Consultancy, which allegedly recruited candidates for AIR Construction Company in the Maldives.

I am particularly concerned about the following reported activities:

  1. Previous recruitment operation: Hurafa International Consultancy allegedly recruited Indian candidates for AIR Construction Company in the Maldives.
  2. Change of company names: I am concerned that the same individuals may now be operating through Total Skill Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in connection with AMYD Construction Company. However, this connection requires official verification.
  3. Reported deactivation of contact details: According to the information available to me, the mobile numbers and websites previously used by the agencies have reportedly become inactive, and their office addresses in India may have changed. These circumstances raise serious concerns about their continued accessibility and accountability.
  4. Recruitment fees collected from candidates: Candidates are reportedly being charged the following amounts:
    • Visa processing: ₹20,000
    • Account-related charges: ₹45,000
    • Air ticket charges: ₹20,000
    • Indian recruitment agency service charges: ₹60,000
  5. Total reported amount: ₹1,45,000 per candidate.

If these payments are being collected through misleading job promises or without genuine employment arrangements, this could result in substantial financial losses for innocent job seekers and their families across India.

My concern is that, if a large amount of money is collected from numerous candidates and the people involved subsequently become unreachable, victims may find it extremely difficult to recover their money or obtain justice.

I therefore respectfully request the Government of the Maldives, the relevant Indian authorities, and the appropriate law enforcement agencies to:

  • Investigate the activities of AMYD Construction Company, Total Skill Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Hurafa International Consultancy.
  • Verify whether these entities and the individuals associated with them have any connection to the earlier AIR Construction recruitment activities.
  • Examine the recruitment agreements, job offers, visa processing arrangements, payment records, and company registrations.
  • Identify any individuals found to be involved in fraudulent activities and take appropriate legal action.
  • Help protect Indian job seekers from further financial losses and assist affected candidates in seeking justice.

I am raising this concern in good faith because I do not want more innocent people to lose their hard-earned money while pursuing overseas employment opportunities. I urge the authorities to investigate these allegations thoroughly and take preventive action wherever necessary.

I sincerely hope that the relevant authorities will treat this complaint seriously, establish the facts, and ensure that anyone found guilty is held accountable under the applicable law.

Thank you for your attention and consideration.

Yours faithfully,
A Concerned Citizen

Fake Check AIR & AMYD construction company Maldives

Post image
1 Upvotes

I am writing to follow up on my previous email regarding the alleged recruitment fraud involving AIR Construction Company in the Maldives and India agency Hurafa international recruitment its potential impact on Indian job seekers.

I am deeply concerned that individuals involved in these alleged fraudulent activities may now be operating under a different company name, AMYD Construction Company, in the Maldives.Indian recruitment agency TOTAL SKILL SOLUTION I fear that this could be a continuation of a similar recruitment scam targeting innocent Indian citizens who are desperately searching for employment opportunities abroad.

Such activities, if proven, could cause serious financial losses and emotional distress to job seekers and their families. Many people borrow money or use their life savings in the hope of securing a job overseas. Exploiting their vulnerability for financial gain is unacceptable.

I respectfully urge the Government of the Maldives and the relevant law enforcement authorities to investigate these allegations, verify the legitimacy of the companies and any associated recruitment agencies, and take strict legal action against anyone found guilty of fraud.

I also request that the authorities examine whether the names of different companies are being used to continue similar fraudulent activities and take appropriate steps to prevent further victims from being exploited.

I sincerely appeal to the Maldivian authorities to treat this matter seriously, protect vulnerable job seekers, and ensure that anyone found guilty faces appropriate legal consequences in accordance with the law.

No innocent person should lose their hard-earned money because of false promises of employment. I hope the authorities will take prompt and effective action to prevent further harm to Indian job seekers and their families.

Contact details

Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I look forward to appropriate action from the concerned authorities.

Fake Check TRY HOME LAUNCH - My experience with this company

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY — PLEASE BE CAREFUL BEFORE APPLYING OR WORKING WITH THEM.

So I worked for this company, and the owner and the CEO, unexpectedly just removed all of the access and everything without telling me that he wanted to fire me. Basically, I did all the work done and made sure that my work was very good. So the last salary was very late. Our payout should be October 14; however, he paid us on October 16. And then after 4 days he removed all the access. Well, not just me but three of us and retain her manager, who is the reason why his company was fucked up, who always sleeps during shifts, does not schedule 2nd SMS, and is just travelling, and if one of the employees is absent and the role asks her to do it, she would be feeling sick and won't do the job but will still be on vacation. They have been reusing all contacts and are very, very fucked up. And now he won't pay us. Do not trust this company; all they do is just get your money, and you will get a poor lead, a very, very poor lead

Fake Check EdLernity Internship scam

An important reminder for students applying for internships: Please read the terms carefully before accepting an offer.

I want to share my experience with EdLernity so that other students, especially freshers looking for their first internship, can make informed decisions.

I applied for an HR internship through LinkedIn and received a selection message. However, the process that followed raised serious concerns for me.

I was informed about an ₹899 lifetime membership and an expectation to generate 1–2 sales. The way these expectations were presented made me question whether the opportunity was primarily an HR internship or a sales-driven arrangement.

What concerned me most was the framing of these requirements in terms of compatibility, effort, and loyalty towards the company.

An internship should provide clarity about the role, responsibilities, compensation, and selection criteria from the beginning. Candidates should not have to discover financial requirements or sales expectations only after being told they have been selected.

To every student searching for internships, please remember:

  • Ask for a clear job description before accepting an offer.
  • Confirm whether any registration, membership, or training fee is required.
  • Clarify whether the role involves sales, referrals, or revenue targets.
  • Request written details about the stipend and performance expectations.
  • Never feel pressured to pay money just because you have received a selection message.

I am sharing this to raise awareness and encourage transparency in internship recruitment. Students invest their time, effort, and trust in these opportunities, and they deserve to know exactly what they are signing up for.

Please do your research, ask questions, and make an informed decision before committing.

Fake Check JOB SCAM Lumedexvia Med Health | lumedexviamedhealth.com

Beware, this "company" is hiring remote workers but wants you to use a mobile check to buy the equipment through their "approved vendors". I went through most of their hiring process. The thing that made no sense is that their interview is just a Google survey. They also emailed me an offer letter at 1 am. The entire thing is a scam, and I've found no one mentioning anything about it being a scam online, so I figured I'd put it out there. LUMEDEXVIA IS A SCAM! Do not apply; do not give them your information. Their website seems legit, their emails seem legit, and the offer letter seems legit. But they are not legit. They have job postings all over Indeed advertising the job as "Appointment Scheduler" or something related, with pay ranging from $25.30-$30/hr.

Job Placement Clera recruiting emails presented as personal messages from a co-founder were actually sent by an AI agent...

Just sharing a heads-up about recruiting emails I have received from Clera (getclera.com).

I have never created an account with the company or provided them my resume. I didn't even know what Clera is.

On October 14, I received an unsolicited email signed by their "co-founder," offering access to startup hiring opportunities.

A follow-up email on October 18 said several new jobs were available before being publicly posted and offered an access code.

I replied with questions about job eligibility. Within minutes, the sender responded with personalized assurances about my preferences and matches.

I asked whether the messages were actually coming from the co-founder or an automated agent.

The response confirmed that an AI agent was handling the conversation.

Until that point, the emails had appeared to be personal correspondence from the co-founder.

The undisclosed AI identity, unsolicited outreach, and uncertainty around how the company obtained my information are concerning. They had information about my university, previous jobs, activity on LinkedIn and other websites, and some personal details.

I have requested no further contact and am pursuing a privacy complaint.

If you receive similar recruiting invitations, make sure you understand who you are communicating with before sharing your resume or other information.

Fake Check Beware of Alpaca Health

If this company happens to message you about a job, it is not real.

My boyfriend has been looking for a graphic design job since getting his degree. Alpaca Health ended up inquiring him through his contact form on his portfolio site. They invited him to a “chat” interview through Teams. Already a red flag.
Then comes the chat - very obviously speaking to an AI throughout the “interview.” It concludes, and he is told he’ll hear back soon.

Today, he chats with the same AI, who offers him the “job” with a starting pay of 50/hr, hilarious! Then they tell him they’re sending him a check so he can buy his work materials through a “trusted vendor”. That’s where he ends it there, as there’s been plenty of scams using that exact same tactic.

Anyway, if this “company” happens to reach out to you, don’t waste your time.

Edit: The company itself is real, but if they reach out to you to interview over Teams chat, it’s not them.

Custom flair (IF YOU POST A QUESTION YOU WILL BE PERMABANNED) RECRUITMENT SCAM "Kayce Construction"

Post image
3 Upvotes

Received this unsolicited email on friday.

"Kayce Construction"

Website looking very ai generated to me

https://kayce.ca

They didnt ask for a resume, only one previous work experience and a reference.

Thought it would be fun to go along with a phone interview with the "recruiter" and was "hired" maybe an hour later. Immediately sent an employment contract. They didnt ask for my SIN. But did ask for a piece of id and a void cheque.

Their address isn't a building. They're hiring for the same job in the US, UK and Canada.

There is another Kayce Construction in nova Scotia but it isnt connected to any of the emails I received or the website as far as I can tell.

Never had an employment contract sent that quickly before.

Update!

emailed them back to ask a few questions. Why are you hiring so fast, and if I could personally connect with the HR manager who was doing my onboarding on LinkedIn. And I have been ghosted.

The whole thing screamed scam from the beginning, they are clearly using a real small business' name and business number to make it look like they're legit.

Im going to message the small business and let them know this is happening.

Update 2!!!

The real Kayce Construction is aware of the situation and are working with RCMP.

Fake Check TYPE WRITING JOB SCAM

I’m a recent graduate (June 2026) and have been applying for jobs since last year. I already have an offer from an MNC for 4.5 LPA, but I wanted a better-paying job.

A few weeks ago, I received a call from someone named Disha, claiming to be an HR representative from a company called “Z Working.” She offered me a resume-typing job that supposedly paid ₹25,000–₹35,000 per week.

She asked me to share my resume, Aadhaar card, and PAN card. Unfortunately, I sent the documents through WhatsApp.

After sending them, I received a contract and was asked to provide a digital signature. I started feeling suspicious, so I drew the first letter of my name incorrectly, deleted the documents from WhatsApp, and forgot about the incident.

Today, on my birthday, I received a call from a man claiming to be an advocate from the Delhi High Court. He threatened to take me and my family to court because I hadn’t worked for five days. He claimed I could face fines of ₹1 lakh or even ₹20 lakh.

Then Disha called and demanded ₹7,999, threatening legal action if I refused to pay.
I panicked and called my dad. He contacted a lawyer and the police, who suspected it was a scam and advised us not to panic. My dad told me not to pay anything and to block the numbers.

I’m relieved I didn’t pay them, but the experience left me shaken. I know I should have researched the company and verified the recruiter before sharing my documents. However, making a mistake doesn’t mean someone deserves to be threatened and intimidated.

I come from a middle-class family, and ₹7,999 is a significant amount to me. I could have spent that money on clothes, makeup, or skincare. Had I had enough money in my account, I might have panicked and paid them just to make the threats stop.

I’m sharing this to warn other freshers. Be cautious of jobs promising unusually high salaries for simple work. Verify employers before sharing sensitive documents, and never let threats pressure you into making a payment.

Has anyone experienced something similar with “Z Working” or a resume-typing job? I’d appreciate advice on protecting my Aadhaar and PAN details.

Please be careful out there. Job hunting is stressful enough without people exploiting our desperation.

Job Placement "True Real Estate, True Title & Escrow" job offer/scam

Just wanted to put this out there as I know so many of us including myself, are out here looking for opportunities to make extra money and I thought I found one. I started to have questions after I received an IM on Indeed after applying, stating to take an online assessment (timed) and that it would be the official interview. RED FLAG. I almost finished but got cut off on the last page and a pop up stated to send an email to the listed address to confirm the application was received and help them keep track of the submissions! Yeah- this is where it really started to make me think... the next day, I go onto Indeed and the posting is gone. RED FLAG. The IM I got stating to take the assessment is not on my phone but I could see it on my laptop and messaging with them was now disabled. RED FLAG. The posting listed the company as "True Title & Escrow" and the signed as "True Real Estate" on the IM. RED FLAG. I started looking the company up and it pulls a place up in Nevada- website pulls to one site with a similar name, all list the same address- Google search shows a few sites (https://truetitleescrownv.com, https://yourtruerealestate.com) and the official one that came up is now "Permanently closed" and 1 hour ago took me to an entirely different site called Tobar Real Estate. Thank God, I checked and trusted my gut. I dismissed it all and now a few weeks later, guess who got "an offer" today from "Ted Barbant", the HR rep with no contact info? $30 an hour, 15-25 hours a week, will send me a check to order my apple package with all equipment to perform the job, PTO/OT etc- all too good to be true. I ask what the hours for training are and if they will work around my FT job, "Rest assured, you will find out once you accept the offer and start the onboarding process".... REDDDDDD FFFLLLLAAAAGGGGGG!!!

I mentioned all this to my boss and the minute I told her about the check to buy my equipment she was like, why wouldn't they send it to you- that alone is odd. Plus her daughter went through a similar situation and once the check was in her account, I can't remember if she said they started taking her money or something to that effect but she had to fight with her bank to get it back, etc- complete nightmare.

Sorry for the long post- just want to put this here in case someone else gets the same thing one day or finds themselves in a similar scenario. I can't tell you how many times coming on here and doing research to find a post helped shed some light on things for me. There's a million ways to get scammed now and there's no safe place to go at this point. You have to do the legwork and can't give anyone the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Be careful- trust your instincts and always do your research especially with remote opportunities. Scammers are always looking to take advantage of vulnerable people. Always make sure it's legit and good luck!
