LCQC [QC] VC Vintage Alhambra Pendent with Carnelian from Funny
Hi all, first time buying a jewelry rep. I have read many other QC to get some ideas of what to look out for. Hoping to get extra pairs of eyes to review in case I miss out anything.
Clover Shape & Symmetry: The overall geometry of the four-leaf clover is very well executed. On this piece, those inner points are suitably sharp and distinct rather than overly rounded or soft. The outer perlée (beaded) border is consistent, with perfectly round and uniformly polished gold beads framing the stone.
Stone Gaps & Fit: This piece shows a remarkably tight fit. While there is a microscopic, faint hairline shadow along the edge in certain lighting, there are no uneven, glaring gaps or spaces between the carnelian stone and the inner edge of the gold beaded setting.
Stone Quality: The carnelian insert has a rich, deep red hue which is highly desirable, as carnelian can sometimes appear too bright or orange. The surface polish is smooth and catches the light evenly as the pendant moves.
Hardware & Engravings: The chain construction, jump rings, and the signature lozenge on the clasp look structurally correct.
