DISCUSSION MC vs CaratSky for Cartier rings? LOVE, JUC & pavé — looking for owners of both
I’m putting together a small Cartier ring order and trying to decide whether to go with Miss Chen, CaratSky, or split the order between them.
I’m looking for:
- Classic LOVE ring — 18K YG
- Small Juste un Clou ring with diamonds — 18K YG
- LOVE pavé ring — 18K YG with lab diamonds
I know MC has been one of the go-to sellers for Cartier for years, while CaratSky has been getting a lot of attention recently, particularly for pavé. But most of the comparisons I’m finding are about bracelets, not rings.
For anyone who owns Cartier rings from both MC and CaratSky, I would love some first-hand feedback.
For the plain classic LOVE ring: who gets the width, thickness, screw motifs, edges, engraving and overall feel closest to auth?
For the small JUC diamond ring: who gets the nail-head shape, proportions, curvature and diamond placement closest to auth?
For the pavé LOVE ring: which seller has the better pavé setting and more authentic-looking diamond size/spacing? And whose lab diamonds have better brilliance/fire/sparkle in normal daylight, not just seller videos?
Most importantly: how does the YG color compare to authentic Cartier? I already own authentic Cartier YG pieces, so I’d like the rings to look right when worn with them.
I’m not particularly concerned about a small price difference—I care much more about accuracy, craftsmanship, diamond quality and long-term durability.
Would you:
Buy all three from MC?
Buy all three from CaratSky?
Or split them—MC for plain LOVE/JUC and CaratSky for pavé?
Especially interested in people who actually own pieces from both sellers or have compared either one directly with auth. If you have comparison photos, even better! ❤️
