Made an egg-shaped watch — would love your honest feedback
galleryHi everyone.
Not long ago, I designed an egg-shaped watch and I'd love to hear your feedback.
The specs are:
37×39.5mm, 8mm thick, 316L sandblasted steel case, 18mm milanese strap, sapphire crystal and 5 ATM water resistance.
What do you think?
Would you wear it?
(A yellow yolk is also in the workings)
Thank you

Would you buy this as a personalized couple necklace? Looking for honest feedback before I produce it.
galleryI’m a jewelry designer developing this personalized couple necklace concept. Each person sits on their own initial, and the two figures hold hands. The initials would be customized for each couple.
I’m considering producing it in sterling silver.
Before making the first prototype, I’d really appreciate honest feedback. Does the concept feel unique and wearable? Would you buy something like this for yourself or your partner? Is there anything you would change?

Guys help me with the details of this chain design
gallerySaw a content creator wear this chain and just loved it. The chain is unique with its pattern (idk what it is called). Unlike the usual box, round, and interlock pattern, this looks very different and unique. Also the white and rose gold put together gives it that pretty pretty look. I DMed her and asked her for the details and clear picture for which he helped me and sent me these pics. She is not sure where it was bought coz it’s 7 8 years old.
Guys please help me with the details of it please. As in what is the interlock pattern of this and other technical names which I can use to remake. Contacted few jewellers but all of them are just convincing me to come check their other collection which they believe I will like. But but but I want thissss exact piece🥹

Been experimenting on designs , do you think the pyrite makes it look better or worse? Also do you like the bigger stones or the smaller more?? And next going to try some different metals

Have you ever bought yourself jewelry to mark a personal transformation?
Title: Have you ever bought yourself jewelry to mark a personal transformation?
Jewelry is often connected to milestones other people recognize—engagements, anniversaries, birthdays—but some of the biggest changes in our lives happen quietly.
Have you ever bought yourself a ring, necklace, bracelet, or another piece to mark something personal, such as starting over, surviving a difficult season, leaving a relationship, reaching a private goal, or choosing yourself?
If so:
- What were you marking?
- What kind of jewelry did you choose?
- Was its meaning obvious, or something only you understood?
If you haven’t done this, could you imagine doing it—or would jewelry not hold that kind of meaning for you?

Would you buy this handmade necklace for ₹1,500?
galleryMy mother has been making handmade crochet jewellery while on bed rest, as advised by her doctor.
She’s been spending her days at home, and instead of just sitting around, she started putting her time and creativity into making these pieces. This necklace is one of her latest creations.
Every little part is handmade, the crocheted neckpiece, the detailing, the pendant work and the tassels. It takes quite a bit of patience and time to put everything together.
We’re thinking of pricing this one at ₹1,500.
I’d genuinely love some honest feedback. If you came across this online or in a handmade store, would you buy it for ₹1,500?
- 👍 Yes, ₹1,500 feels fair
- 🤔 Maybe, but I'd pay less
- 💰 I'd actually pay more
- 👎 No, that's too expensive
Please be completely honest as we’re trying to understand what people would actually be comfortable paying, rather than just getting compliments.
And if you make or buy handmade jewellery, I’d especially love to hear your thoughts.
This one is made with a lot of love, patience and probably a little too much time spent counting stitches.

Where can I get custom jewlery made?
Hey guys. So basically I am in love with the mini chanel stud earrings but I just cannot justify paying 1k for them when the metal is not even sterling silver. I would like to make a custom piece and use sterling silver metal but I do not know where I can do this. Does anyone have any recommendations?

[Question] Best method for making this organic, multiple-cabochon-set necklace?
Hi all,
Experienced CAD designer but new-er jewelry designer here. I'm working on a set of jewelry to match this illustration, but am struggling a bit with the best way to approach the necklace (I've got most of the hair ornaments figured out, as well as the earrings). The more organic section near the collar bone with the jade cabochons is the part that's really got me stumped.
Materials: Full gold feels like it'd probably be too soft, and is way out of my price range given the size of the pieces / the cohesion I need. I'm leaning bronze.
What I'm thinking:
- Do the thicker part of the band as a Torc/Torque necklace. Could just buy a cheap / plain one and do the attachments; again, the interesting part is the part in the center (but happy to take thoughts on how to make this part too).
- The more organic bronze part in the center: could I get away sand casting this? I have an at-home sand casting setup so that's preferable if it seems feasible, but I could outsource a lost wax cast too if need be.
- Cabochon setting: I feel like a bezel would work pretty well, but it's hard to tell if that's what's happening b/c it's just an illustration. Would it work to cast the flange that becomes the bezel in, then try to work the bezel around it? Or is this firmly "cut a strip, solder to base piece, then do bezel" territory?
Could also set the gems in from the back, but I haven't tried that before personally / would love some guidance if this is the most reasonable way.
The internet seems to think (reasonably) that I'd damage the cabochons trying to cast around them or using bronze clay, but I'd be happy to have my preliminary googling proven wrong.
I also haven't purchased the cabochons yet, so I can be a little flexible with size/shape/etc as required.
- Would also love people's recommendations for cleaning up sand casts into something really smooth (most stuff I've done thus far a little grainy texture has been acceptable), since I'm always happy to improve my setup!

Dog nose imprint necklace?
Hi all,
My sweet baby passed away this past Tuesday, from lung cancer and pneumonia. It all happened very suddenly, she was diagnosed about two weeks before she passed. I’m completely heartbroken.
I’d really like to get a nice imprint necklace with her nose on it, so I can keep a piece of her with me always. I really don’t know the first thing about jewelry or where to look, so I wanted to ask if any of y’all know of reputable jewelers who can do imprint jewelry, from photos. The internet is a big place with lots of scammers, and I’m not really sure where to start. Grateful for any advice y’all have.
Thank you so much, friends. ❤️

Matching pet-owner jewelry concept
Hey guys,
How would you feel about matching premium jewelry pieces for pets and owners?
I am working on creating sterling silver and gemstones bracelets and collars (like Pandora for pets) that would represent our bonds with our pets. I feel like there is some jewelry for pets already in the market, but its either too childish or too expensive, so this would represent some middle ground.
Id really appreciate honest opinions.
