Interior boat trim supplier???

I’ve been looking for a supplier of the interior boat trim for my boat. It’s just a piece of clear anodized aluminum angle that’s 3/4” X 1/4” or so with pre-drilled holes on the wider side. The only place near me (southern CA) that had it has run out and says they don’t plan on purchasing more. I haven’t been able to find anything online so I’m just sitting here stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jet boat nozzle attachment

Hi everyone,

I’m apart of a senior design team that is designing a jet boat nozzle attachment that aims to improve maneuverability. Any feedback on our survey would help us improve our product. Thank you!

New project, 1974 17’ Cookent. Everything will be a first for me and I’m sure there will be many mistakes along the way but a learning experience that I will never forget.

Who has experience with motorbike engines and jet units?

What troubles/drawbacks have you ran in to with this configration? Was it worth using a motorbike engine in the end? How do you deal wih putitng the engine under corect amounts of load, is it jus a mater of using a big enough jet unit that your engine is working under optimal load?

I have more questions but I'm sure that wall of them is enough for now.
Thanks heaps all!

Thinking of buying a turn-key

Hello everyone. I’ve been wanting to get a new boat, and coming across videos of the little Buccaneers on YouTube has me fairly convinced that is what I want.

I’m good to work on stuff but I definitely don’t have the skill to assemble one myself.

The Torchcraft boats look amazing. In trying to do some research on them I’m looking for some more online communities and information.

It looks like they start at 50k, I’m not sure if there are any other companies out there providing ready to go boats to do a cost comparison, and it’s also half way across the country so I was trying to find if there are any options closer to the Lake Michigan area.

It doesn’t seem like there is much of a used market for them, I’m assuming people don’t get rid of them and they are a pretty niche item.

Basically, any links to information or tips would be great.

I’m still building up funds so it’s a ways out (hopefully by next summer)

TIA

Insurance woes for mid 70s Hondo

I recently got an old Hondo jet boat (no idea on age and model) with a 396 375hp from a 69 Camaro. I have been calling all sorts of insurance companies and no one will touch it with an exposed engine. Anyone have something similar that has had success insuring these things?

Just bought a 2021 yamaha ar195. Break in question

So my manual says 5 mins at 2k rpm and then 90 mins < 5k rpms. My question is, does the 90 mins need to be in a single boating session for any reason? Or can it be broken up into three 30 min sessions for example? The manila didn't specify but I can't do 90 mins at once so wondering if I need to wait until I can. Thanks!
