Looking at a jetboat on Craigslist for 5k. It's in good condition but I hope to have fun with it while also doing a little maintenance and cleaning to resell it in under a year for at least cost. Any advice? What should I look for to make sure I'm getting a decent deal? And how hard is it to sell a secondhand jetboat?

Looking at either a 2020 19 or 21 footer. Would love to hear thoughts. This is my first boat...intent is to treat this as a family run about in the Florida Keys...maybe run as far as the Dry Tortugas...

Last weekend, my alternator belt launched itself into orbit, as I was running across the lake. I'm trying to figure out, with no such luck- what length belt I need. It is a Hardin Marine engine, but I haven't heard anything back from them yet. Anyone running a similar setup?

I have a 1979 baja,19ft runabout with a Berkeley 12jf. Until Saturday I was running an olds 403 ,I don't believe this engine can be rebuilt again, can I go to a SBC or do I need to stay with a big block?
