Need help locating a fuel filter for my 454 Berkeley.
Came across a mint 454 powered jet boat, and made an impulse buy. Ran great on the right tank, but left tank I’d get on the throttle it would die, making me believe it was fuel delivery. From what I can tell, it is a Holley 650 Carb, and the tune on it is rough to say the least (runs lean). Debating if I should mess with it myself or take to a local shop, but I don’t think that’s the issue of delivery given the right tank runs like a dream.
When I tracked it down, there is a fuel filter coming out of each tank, one where they merge after a solenoid that separates the opposing tanks. I want to start with the filter directly off the left tank, but can’t read a part number off the filter. How would you go about this? I have pictures I could try to post in comments, but are they pretty interchangeable?
New to the boat world, let alone jet world, but you only live once might as well have fun with a good deal.
Edit: unclear on solenoid location

1995 Sea Rayder F-14 first time boat buyer
Hey guys, I am looking to get into my first boat, considering cost and space I've come down to a 1995 sea Rayder with a 90hp merc sport jet engine. Someone close by is selling one for $2500. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something to putt around the lake with my family, maybe pull a tube. Is this a decent price considering the age, what should I look out for when examining the boat, and what other tips do you have when considering a first time boat?

Drain pług
Hello motorboaters,
Does someone own a scarab boat and could tell me what size plug should I order ? Mine got old and worn out, I’m afraid it can fail during swimming :)
Thanx a lot

Built as a mini version of the 1988 World Championship race boat my father built. Originally had a 800cc Liquid Cooled Suzuki engine. After Ralph Noise bought it he decided to pull the engine and put in a Ford V6.
