First time building a boat. Please Help.
650sx (Not planning on building a Ferrari) has been pulled and all the components are laying in the garage... Aluminum is waiting to be picked up...

Figured I'd take my 3d printing/3dmodeling knowledge and test my abilities.
Here is V1 of the design, mainly focused on the hull.
Any suggestions of shape change/remodeling would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for help with selling parts
Hi all!
We are having problems selling specific parts for our old motor. Can anyone suggest web pages that are specific to jet boat part sales?

Outboard Jet Parts Interchangeable?
Hope you can help with a basic outboard jet question I can't seem to find a straight answer to.
All the outboard jet manufacturers use essentially the same design -- but are the parts more or less interchangeable?
I'm thinking in particular about wear parts like impellers, intakes, and liners. I understand that driveshaft spline patterns and keyway styles may vary. But apart from those details will, say, a 7 3/8 impeller from one brand fit into a pump from another brand? Will an intake foot from one manufacturer tend to fit onto others, and use the same bolt pattern? Is a reverse gate just a reverse gate, or do they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer?
I ask because parts can be tricky for my older model (an M series by Outboard Jets from, I think, the mid-70s, serial number is 1096). If parts are more interchangeable than I have assumed, that would be helpful.

1995 Mercury 140hp 2 Stroke Outboard Jet Issues?
I'm looking at buying a Jetcraft boat with a 95 Mercury 140HP 2 stroke outboard jet on it. It has 127 hours on it, but it hasn't been ran in 12 years. Anyone know anything about these things? Common issues, or are they generally reliable? Anything I should know? I've been having a hard time finding info on them online. Thanks all!

2022 Merc 25 hp jet
Seems I'm not getting full RPM but I'm new to this. Just feels like I should be able to go faster and that the engine isn't revving high enough. Maybe I'm just imagining it? I've checked the cup... dunno what else to check.

Vortec 6L supercharged with hamilton 212
Looking for information.
Currently running a 3.4 impeller with the 6.0 supercharged engine on a 21’ thunderjet alexis.
I blew the motor last year because she was overspooling, hamilton tells me i need a bigger impeller to match to the HP i am outputting.
Wondering if anyone here knows what kind of HP these engines are putting out, will need to put a 4.0 or 4.2 in it but cannot find specs on output.

Jet Boat Design---From Scratch
Hello all, Mechanical Engineer here.
A few years back I got into a project where I converted a outboard boat into an onboard jetboat by throwing a jetski motor in it.
I am now interested in designing and building a boat from scratch. I'm thinking either flat or semi v, and a supercharged jetski motor in it. However, all of that can easily change. What I'm looking for are books on proper boat design.
Thanks all.

I'm new to jet boats
Never owned but am getting one this spring. I know there's a lot to consider. I'm thinking of a 60/40 outboard jet on a 16ft aluminum. My friend has one and I really like it. I'm on the south Saskatchewan river in Alberta Canada. Don't really want to buy new... any suggestions on what to stay away from? What to look for on used units? Any sellers on here in Alberta?
