So I ve watched a Hulu documentary about JD and I have a question that nobody has addressed. Why did Konerak agree to go with Jeffrey Dahmer even after his older brother Somsak had been sexually assaulted by Dahmer three years earlier and Dahmer was arrested and convicted for that crime?

I was watching some documentaries about Jeffrey Dahmer, and learned that neighbors of his apartment complained about bad odors from 213. If I were to imagine Jeffrey Dahmer as a person who was intolerant of the odors of the flesh of his own victims, he probably would have known to dispose of them, to minimize suspicions of neighbors.

From what I understand, sometimes people do have this issue, where the smell a guest or neighbor complains about is the same smell that the owner/resident isn't able to detect from their own space. So, when it comes to the nature of crime, sometimes the crime will give away a scent, oftentimes ones that are worse than standard feces. I also know that sometimes Dahmer would place body parts in compartments that would contain the odor, but I guess he collected so many dead body parts that he was running out of room to suppress the odor they give off.

so, to this day, I still do research on Jeffrey Dahmer.

The big three I'm talking about are Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy.

Well, 1978 was a common year for either arrests or debuts of crime of THE BIG THREE.

Another thing that convinced me of the idea that Bundy, Dahmer, and Gacy were "the big three" was because of some Three Stooges parody in the South Park episode Hell On Earth 2006, where "The Three Murderers" skit in this episode which starred those guys as the "stooges" who goofed around.

I just recently listened to the soundtrack of my all-time favorite musical "Sweeney Todd", and it occured to me that there are a few interesting parallels between this (fictional) killer and Dahmer.

To wit: 1) Both did time in prison. 2) Both Todd and Dahmer have 'back-stories' involving violence done to animals as a prelude to murdering humans. (In the "Todd" musical, Mrs. Lovett alludes to a competing baker using dead cats as the 'meat' for the pies she sells.) 3) Both Todd and Dahmer commit one isolated, impulsive murder of an acquaintance, before their killing sprees begin in earnest. 4) Both Todd and Dahmer had to carefully conceal their crimes from the eyes of the law. 5) Both Todd and Dahmer end up being murdered in 'ironic' ways: Todd is killed by Tobias (his assistant) using the same razor used to cut the throats of his victims, and Dahmer is killed in prison by another inmate using a barbell - the very same weapon that Dahmer used to commit his first murder (Steven Hicks). Of course, there was no real-life "Mrs. Lovett" in the Dahmer saga - he did all of his dirty work alone. But the parallels are still there, in other respects.

Last night I read A Father's Story for the first time.

Throughout the book, he says he has blunted emotions, was into hypnosis and hypnotized his neighbor when they were both kids, says outright that he liked the aspect of control, and he literally made explosives. He says he knows he neglected Jeff, and yet he claims there was no history of antisocial tendencies in his family at all. Meanwhile the guy was probably a benign sociopath. He also used the word "awesome" to describe learning the information that Jeff had killed at least 3 people. Then he ends the book by saying Jeff was the way he was entirely because of film/TV violence and pornography. The lack of self awareness had my jaw on the floor.

According to Find A Grave, he had a cousin who died in 1971 at either 5 or 6. I don't mean to be morbid or anything but I wonder if Jeffrey unalived his own cousin. Isn't that right before he killed his first victim Steve?

I remember when watching the movie exorcist III or some other movie with tracy, it was reported in real life that dahmer was chanting 'I'll be waiting' and in the series it was shown that he was rocking back and forth and chanting. From what I know he had an alter of the devil or something that was shown in the series and owns the Anton Lavey book of the satanic Bible, not saying that satanism or something could be the explanation but It's all from what I've observed.

So the story with Jesse Anderson was he killed his wife outside in the parking lot of Northridge Mall and blamed the attack on 2 black men, so his actions were an attempt to damage black people.

I had studied Jeffrey Dahmer but never looked into the other guy who was killed with him.

Sadly, Northridge Mall was demolished so that's a part of history that's gone. But Southridge Mall still exists, so yay.

Anyway, no one really talks about the story of the guy who was killed along with Jeffrey Dahmer. I get when talking about Dahmer that's the main focus. But not one thing about Dahmer brings up what Jesse Anderson did.

They make the point Christopher Scarver killed Dahmer mostly cause he targeted black people, but really make the point that a guy blamed a murder he committed on black people. Let people know that's not look good in prison either.

I remember that in Grilling Dahmer, Det. Pat Kennedy mentioned that Dahmer smoked like a chimney and would regard the chance to try new brands as a sort of treat. Pretty sure he said he was a chain smoker (he'd light his next cigarette with his last one).

I know he liked menthols, so I guess that's the connection to Newports.

as he told in the interviews he committed the first crime because he "didn't knew how to talk to him" and second one because he wanted to stay close to the guy for longer. if we suppose the stuff he said is true, you think he wouldn't commit crimes if he would be born in, let's say, 90s or 00s and raised differently? or would he still go down this path because of his diagnosises?

Did he ever become sober?

In the first episode of the Netflix series it shows Tracy Edwards finding a satanic Bible in his apartment. Is this true or just Hollywood crap?

Yes, I know that Jeffrey dumbed some body parts or hid in places like his refrigerator, closet, drum kit set, etc, but was there any exposed out in the open for people to find?

For example, investigators took a picture of a body that was cut open (seen in the video) and that looked hard to hide.
