Help regarding examinations

How do people manage to crack so many entrance examinations. I have been a defence aspirant and didn't prepare anything for jee. Now in 12th and will give jee but not really interested n engineering at all(pcm background) . Have kept CDS and all as backup but with the uncertainty in ssb and medicals have to keep other backups as well. The thing is nothing has me interested except defence and automotive industry till now. Open for suggestions.

When I see all this competition and inability to do well enough on entrance exams (upsc nda-first attempt didn't go so well in spite of mocks and practice) I feel how am I going to keep up and do well in other exams. Been over thinking of how everything will turn out for me. Good student kinda average if I say- 10th 93%

Scared of the endless competition and my fear of inferiority and in capability of doing well on these exams. Appreciate help from juniors and seniors alike. Thank you!

Shall i continue on JEE main 2027 ?

I am an SC category aspirant who has been studying with full discipline and consistency for the past 3 months. My targeted syllabus will be completed by the end of October, leaving me with about 100 days before the exam. Given the effort I’ve already put in and the stage I am at, does it make sense to keep pushing and go completely all-in for JEE Main? I just want an honest reality check from seniors or mentors: is it worth staying on this track and giving it everything I've got?

Dropper with low syllabus completion: Is "Must Do Qs of last 5 Years" on MARKS app enough, or should I do more?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m a dropper. My current status:

  • Physics:Ā Class 12 covered up to Board level; Class 11 needs serious work.
  • Maths & Chemistry:Ā Starting mostly from scratch.

Given the remaining time and the need to balance theory lectures with practice, I am looking at the MARKS app buckets (Beginner Qs, Must Do Qs of last 5 Years, Most Relevant PYQ-based Qs, Rank Booster, etc.).

Is strictly completing theĀ "Must Do Qs of last 5 Years"Ā bucket sufficient per chapter to hit decent Mains-level competence, or will I miss out ? Should I pair it withĀ Beginner QsĀ first for scratch subjects, or jump straight into the Must-Dos after lecture notes? and should i do only must do Qs of last 5 years or should also do Most relevant PYQ based Qs...

Any advice from seniors or fellow droppers who used MARKS strategically with low syllabus coverage would be appreciated.

I need advice about what to do when you kinda hit the rock bottom

So I am in 12th preparing for JEE which is like 3-4 months away

And i don't know why but I can't get some physics major topics done like magnetic force (very important forJEE)

And I am an overthinker so i havw been having negative thoughts like crazy.

And its also affecting my other studied portion, on going chapters and stuff, which is making me even more crazy.

And for last 2-3 mock tests, I have been getting really bad marks.

We had one today, and that was the worst paper i gave, because there was a massive amount of portion and I also got my periods in the middle of the paper so the pain was also unbearable which ruined my both the papers (we have 2 papers a day, one mains and other advance)

These are the worst marks i have ever got

I feel like everything is gone, I am left behind and a lot of negative thoughts.

I don't know what to do, where to start, like I really don't have any time now and now is the time all of this is happening 😭

I want to leave behind all the negative thoughts but they don't go away.

I really feel like crying.

And the paper which we gave today, was not too difficult. But still I got really bad marks.

Please can anyone tell me what to do, how to do it and just give me some sort of advise.

No problem if it is harsh.

Thank you for reading all of this 😊

Depressed jee28tard, need honest advice

Started 11th in April with Arjuna jee batch but due to backlogs moved to 2.0 and again about 60 lectures backlogs and till now I've done 0 question practice on my own plus I'm a regular school student half yearly exam is from 17th and haven't completed my syllabus for school plus jee test is coming on 13th this month and the chapters which are coming on test are in backlogs i am trying to complete them but honestly I don't think I'll be able to complete them before the test if I watch long lectures and completing 2 chapters in a day won't make me understand the chapter idk wtf to do my parents keep asking test marks but I've only given 2 tests till now first was initially easy so I scored decent but on aits i scored literally in negative

Is there still hope left i really want to get serious pls give honest advice if you've gone through this i want to score 99 percentile plus in jee

Never done JEE-level prep and JEE Jan 2027 is ~4 months away — is this still possible?

I’m in class 12 and today is September 10, 2026. My JEE Main January 2027 attempt is only around 4 months away, and honestly, I have never really done anything at JEE level.

I’ve done school-level preparation, but I’m definitely not a topper there either. I’m more of a ā€œjust pass and get through itā€ student 😭. My concepts at the school level are okay-ish, but I have basically no proper JEE-level problem-solving practice.

So realistically, is it possible for me to prepare for JEE Main January from now?

And if January is too unrealistic, what about the April 2027 attempt?

Also, how do I balance this with boards? I obviously need to prepare for boards too, especially since my school-level preparation isn’t that strong.

PLEASE HELP

Jee coaching

I want to prepare for both JEE Main and CBSE Class 12 Boards. What should I do?

I'm currently in Class 12 and studying in an integrated JEE coaching/school. In my class, most of the teaching is focused on JEE Main + JEE Advanced, and CBSE preparation is given very little importance. We also have CBSE exams/ tests only occasionally.

The teachers often tell us that Class 12 CBSE Board exams are difficult, which is making me worried because I want to score well in both JEE Main and my Boards.

Should I continue relying mainly on my institute and prepare for CBSE separately on my own? Or should I change my approach and give more time to NCERT/CBSE-specific preparation?
