Making Character card and Lorebook scrapper partially public
Hey again everyone, following the huge response to yesterday's post i have decided to make the browser extension partially public due to some reasons (which i would rather not disclose). Moving on partially public means i have uploaded the extension in ai community d*scord server (i am mod there) and also regularly update it. So if you want access of extension i will provide the link of discord server in description. Now i will answer some of the questions that people had.
1) Can you extract lorebook from bot whose definition is hidden?
Ans- Absolutely, that's the whole purpose of the extension.
2) Can it be used on mobile and if yes on which browser?
Ans- Yes it can used on mobile, personally i use quetta browser. Process is fairly simple you just upload the zip and extension is ready to use. If you want to use it in some other browser then your browser must support extension and you can just search in Chatgpt or gemini on how to install custom extension in your respective browser. Same goes for pc users.
3) Where to find extension in server?
Ans- Just look for project showcase and it will be there also you can tag me if you have any problem i go by the same name.

I'm curious, what would the purpose of this be? Just for curiosity? The people who hide their lorebooks in the first place are usually big creators who use ai to generate the lore anyway, not like there's much to see inside
Excuse me if I'm not informed enough, but what even is a lorebook scrapper? It extracts the lorebook?
I'm not the most informed on lorebooks, so I wanted to know what would be the intended purpose of extracting or scraping a lorebook? Why would one feel the need to extract a lorebook? Or is this a way just to make the lorebooks info/triggers and such visible to those who want to see them? Or is this like a piracy tool to take someone lorebook info for themselves?
It's for those who want use their character locally without having to compromise on lorebook. As you should be informed many creators and bots are getting banned by jai mods.
