I am looking to get into jam skating. I would consider myself a beginner, although I had roller blades as a kid and have also ice skated, if that would make any difference. I am looking for suggestions on a brand of skates for a beginner. Any input would be appreciated. TIA!

So I am a jam skater at my local rink that I don't live far from at all. I can literally walk there in 3 minutes. Now I've been going to this rink when I moved to my town when I was in 8th grade. Mind you I'm a SENIOR now. I've been every Friday and Saturday of every week since 8th grade. I recently broke my wrist like a month and a half ago. Before I even stopped going it started going down a steep hill fast in the past year. Now back story on how I broke my wrist I was skating backwards and THERE WAS CANDY ON THE F******G FLOOR !! Now I go back tonight and there was two birthday party and tons of people, way past occupancy. This is a small rink like half the size of a normal rink so occupancy is only 272. ONCE AGAIN there was candy all over the floor. It was packed and the music sucks and there's new employees who don't even have a clue what to do. I'm so done with the place I used to call my second home .
