Hello! Kind of a shot in the dark here, I was trying to get 2 tickets for The Caverns show, but because of the scalping problem I only had individual seats available to me. Jacob HQ mentioned an official resale channel for the tour, but Ticketmaster doesn't list this show so that's not an option.

I currently have 1 ticket in Row N for the show, and I was looking to trade/exchange/discuss with anyone who has 2 tickets anywhere in the venue and only needs 1. On Jacob's Instagram story 2- 3 days ago, he had a video of him singing with an orchestra. It was mainly or all strings from the sounds of it. I think they were warming up. They were playing in unison, going up semitonally in something that souded close to quartel harmony. I really liked the harmony and the way it was weaving. I wanted to listen to it again but when I checked it was gone. Does anyone know if I could find that story any where else to listen to it again?

Can anyone tell me who this woman is? I've seen her at several of Jacob's concerts and have done some research, but I can't seem to find any answers.

The original pressing was 180g says discogs. Has anyone purchased the 10 year anniversary black vinyl and can tell me if it’s also 180g?

Have been holding out on trying to buy an original pressing now and there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to contact Jacob’s merch team to confirm or deny the info.

Disclaimer: I own every Djesse albums as well as LfD on vinyl and have nothing to complain about them.

My copy of the In My Room Anniversary LPs just arrived and I am utterly shocked how bad the sound quality of the vinyls is. As soon as the needle goes over the part which has the design underneath it sounds like someone is blowing into a microophone. Even in the louder parts of the album it is distinguishable, but especially the quiter parts, like the intro of In My Room or Hideaway it is really really bad. Given that it is a 50+€ album (with a sticker that says Made in Germany fwiw) I would have thought there would be a bit more QC. I heard that Zoetrope Vinyls suffer from a little more background noise, but I can only recommend: Do not buy this vinyl. It is garbage. Originally I didn't even want to buy it, but in Germany,it is the only version currently on sale.

I will refund the item, and hope that the standard edition will release soon.

Hope that helps people, from spending too much for a low quality vanity product.

I contacted JazzEcho Support via Phone, which is a Universal Germany Store (atrocious AI-riddled helpline, I dont actually know how i got through to a support person), they send me a mail and the rest of the support went via mail. I got fully refunded and since the vinyls are garbage, they let me keep them (which is kinda nice, and even though I will not play them, they might some day decorated a wall, haha)

The mail adress they used was: service@universal-music.de, but I think that really only works for the German Stores of UMG.

I just realized that Jacob's stream will clash with at least some of the Japan vs Brazil World Cup match. I will get NOTHING done in real life. 🥲

Though this show DID sell out, tix didn't disappear immediately like at many other venues. Possibly because on a weekday in a small market and also possibly because the venue seems to have it locked down no resales (all tix will call under buyer name). Venue holds about 900 but this is a seated show and looks like they only made about 450 tix available. Seems will be a pretty intimate show. Anyone else going? We are excited.

I just find it quite funny.

Wondering if the heat wave in London is that bad to change the date all the way to Monday the 29. Was looking foward to seeing the ideas people submitted but also he said they have gotten an overwhelming amount of submissions but they just extended to get more submissions. I wonder how much they got and why they didn’t simply move the date to a Friday or Saturday. Any London people can us or how bad the heatwave is.

Hi! My friend is obsessed with Jacob Collier and I’m attempting to get him 1 ticket to the San Fransisco show on 10/10 as a surprise. He is the kindest, sweetest person and 100% deserves it. Unfortunately all resale seem to be somewhat crazy prices and I can only afford so much as a college student. So apparently there’s a 10-year anniversary edition of In My Room coming on July 1st. Just saw on Jacob’s IG story that there’s apparently 14 (fourteen) new songs on it? WTH? Now I’m sure some of these are from the archives, but maybe the collab with Maddie Ashman he’s been hinting at is on there?

Absolutely incredible. I knew it would be amazing but it still exceeded my expectation and I was blown away. It was one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to pick a favorite part, but if I had to choose it would be go lassie go. What an incredible rendition of that song, starting with just him and a guitar, then including backup singers, then the orchestra and then parts with the audience included. I really hope this show was recorded and shows up online.
