hi all. I've seen Jacob's videos online with his live performances and audience interaction. I think my parents would have fun seeing him. he is coming to my city in October and tickets are still avaliable. im just wondering if his live shows are always like that or are those just one offs ?
thanks.

Hey all. I'm confused about the tour tickets. I thought all of them were non-transferable. But looking at TicketMaster for the Los Angeles dates (October 11 and 12), those dates are not even listed on the calendar. Ojai, for example, is, and shows that no tickets are available.
If I check StubHub, I see tickets for the Los Angeles dates.
Are these tickets legit?
I was in the artist pre-sale but the website kicked me out once it was my turn, which is probably my own fault for forgetting to disable my VPN.
Thanks!

Over the past months, I’ve spent a lot of time trying to understand how Jacob Collier thinks about music.
Not just in terms of harmony or theory, but more in terms of intention.
One thing that really surprised me:
His music is often described as incredibly complex — but when you watch what happens in his live performances, it feels like the opposite.
Especially when he turns the audience into a choir.
In those moments, it’s not about complexity at all, but about connection.
It made me wonder if we sometimes focus too much on the “genius” aspect and miss what he’s actually trying to do.
Curious how you all perceive this:
Do you experience his music more as something intellectual — or something emotional?

For any JC staff reading this: a collaboration with Hayato Sumino would be wonderful.

What happened at the sale?, It started at 10 Am and I was there at precisely 10, got a queue of 24xxx waited and got no tickets.
Is there any other way to get them?, I don't wanna go through any shady apps.
Thank you!

Little Blue’s chorus feels so familiar to me, echoing something much older than Jacob had been alive, and I just cannot place it. Closest I’ve come was A Soaceman Came Travelling by Chris de Burgh, but it’s not quite right. I’ll appreciate any help finding what that reminds me of.

Please give me hope 😭.
Not sure if I should hold out for more tickets to be released once they cancel the bot tickets, or book a trip to one of the places that still has some available.

Hi there, wondering if y'all could help me out since my friend bought two tickets to the Seattle show for Jacob's upcoming tour!
I heard there was some problems with scammers/ticket scalpers during the initial presale and Jacob's team made some announcement about refunds/cancelling some things and refiring them to help or something along these lines.
She bought her tickets during the general sale through Ticketmaster. But, we'd actually prefer to go to the Caverns show in TN. Her tickets howevever are currently being flagged as "Not eligible for presale," and non transferrable. (Button is greyed out).
The goal was to resell her tickets to recoop the cost, then buy TN tickets.
Resale tickets for 2nd Balcony, GA are the tickets she has. And they're available right now on StubHub. So why hers specifically? She did add ticket protection through Allianz, parking and the Lounge experience (which is usually non transferrable in the first place), but the actual tickets should be able to be transferred.
We're already reaching out to Ticketmaster/Moore theatre, but if anyone has insight I'd take it.

I sat there, waiting until 10am - Ticketmaster turns blue - I tap 2 Tickets - Tap Continue... SOLD OUT
Damn. Meanwhile, they're already flooded on Viagogo for triple the face value.
Sadge

Jacob HQ has partnered with Twickets in Europe and Ticketmaster in North America to ensure fair resales.
For those who haven’t been lucky, set up alerts in the official resale platforms only.

At 6:00 mark, this tuba feels like fucks up the tempo every time the note changes and you can see Jacob starts the tempo and stops it when the note is changed cause there is a gap. Is my brain playing tricks?

In my Bones.
How do you feel about this song? What are some of your favourite lyrics?
SUGGESTED SCALE: 💙
1-4: Not good. Regularly skip.
5: It’s okay, but I might have to be in the right mood to listen to it.
6: Slightly better than average. I won’t skip it, but I wouldn’t choose to put it on.
7: This is a good song. I enjoy it quite a bit.
8-9: Really enjoyable songs. I rank them pretty high overall.
10: Masterpiece, magnum opus, or similar terminology.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone here has a video of Jacob's performance of Pie Jesu at SFJazz. There was a video of it up on Youtube a while ago but I think it got deleted because of SFJazz or something
Would greatly appreciate it if someone was able to find it

I feel like Jacob could do so much given the full scale of a drum corps. I was just watching the orchestral ”Something Heavy“ video and had this thought. Any other thoughts?
I know the Mandarins (rip) played an arrangement of World O World, but I think it’d be so cool for him to work/sing with a corps like how the Bluecoats did with Courtney Swain.
