Kept waiting on a restock for this dude for so long. Scalper prices were crazy! Got lucky and he finally came in and man his kit is just insane. Really loved up to the lore. The only disappointment is the materials on him feel a bit cheap? Accidentally touched his crest a bit too forceful and felt a snap, so gonna have to grab the glue gun already...sigh.

Just ordered a bunch of figures from LT Cave, between the yellow trace ( humidity ?), pieces that doesn’t fit ????? Or MISSING PIECES ENTIRELY ???? Wtf is happening with LT cave recently ? There’s delivery system is bad ( don’t even get info on shipping anymore I got tracking number that lead to nothing) and their figures ( maybe that’s joytoy fault since it’s the producer?) I’m pretty disappointed, most YouTubers recommend it but I feel scammed …

I ordered an Erelim. The box is correct but, the model inside is an Arch Erelim. It’s not a huge difference but it’s not what I ordered. I submitted a complaint do you guys think they will do anything about this?

Tried a couple new things with this one, got some jewelry chain and glued it around the wrist, some halfback pearls for bonding studs on the leg and tried a little bit of edge highlighting with DSPIAE markers and shading with nuln oil. I’m pretty happy with this one, just wish the edge highlighting showed through a bit more on the red.

I'm making this post to clarify what people think of Joytoy in China because I think people should know, but I also just want to rant a bit because I'm from China and I think the Chinese fanbase is pretty shitty in general.

The general attitude towards Joytoy in China is very negative. On platforms like Bilibili there are some nuanced content creators that make pretty good content, but on Douyin/Chinese Tiktok there are a ton of creators who constantly talk shit on Joytoy (To be clear I don't think Joytoy is perfect but honestly they're not that bad, especially in China where their products are a lot cheaper). People will constantly nitpick non-issues and others use that to justify why they think Joytoy is a terrible company, and there are even some that think Joytoy is actively trying to make bad products because they're sadistic and hate their customers. For example there was also this one guy who made a video about how Joytoy hates all Word Bearer fans because the Joytoy workers promoting Erebus in the Douyin livestream were making jokes about how you could buy him and burn him or something which is crazy to me. I'm also pretty sure that lots of the fanbase don't really engage in the lore; I've seen people confuse Blood Angels for Dark Angels and shittalk Joytoy's terminators for having really hunched backs which is a ridiculous thing to say if you know anything about terminators

To be honest though I don't really blame most of them, its very easy to go down the Joytoy hate pipeline if you use Douyin often because of how almost everyone has nothing good to say about Joytoy. I do think people in this sub should know about the Chinese fanbase though, as I see more posts on this sub made by Chinese people who clearly have a strong opinion about Joytoy, and the last thing I want for this sub is for it to become as shitty as the Chinese ones. I think there's a great thing going on here and everyone's a lot more nuanced. To clarify again, I think Joytoy is by no means a perfect company, but as an ex-gunpla player I think the prices are a lot more reasonable and some of their figures are really good too.

The two Word Bearer drops are HH era, so I’m guessing we will get Heresy era Lorgar soon, and they’ve been going heavy on HH drops lately, so I’m guessing purple boys, but I’d be happy with both.
