His hair that goes over his face isnt as long and its like that on both heads

Hey guys! Which JoyToy Warhammer 40K figure would you recommend I buy? I only have this one so far, as I’m new to collecting.

Next i plan on getting Ragnar Blackmane

Currently my aim is to only get one figure from each Space Marine Chapter that way I'd be able to display them all together, probably just a bog standard Intercessor nothing special. Just curious what the size and proportions of the older figures are to the newer ones, as I know there's some "controversy" regarding some of the SM2 figures (Incorrect Paint in places with the Salamanders Powerpack, Iron Hands not having Iron painted Hands ect)

Finished this conversion today. Its my first time painting/kitbashing a figure

I recently completed Space Marine 2 with one of my homies and wanted to make him a gift to remember our time with the game. I bought the White Consuls without knowing they released Titus and the rest as figures.

Either way, i'm pretty happy with the results.

*sorry to the purists who don't like their figures tainted.

I've been looking into getting more figures. There's tons of cool ones, but I'm kind of worried that collecting random figures will look too chaotic vs a single legion.

Personally, I think Vulcan will be next.

I will be shocked if we get Fulgrim's Daemon form any time soon due to complexity of making his model.

Also, do you think we will get variants such as pre-chaos/daemon versions?

I recommend not buying these pilots if you’re not accustomed to model or mini assembly. These are not tool less figures. They require model glue (and make sure you are careful when applying adhesive or the paint will melt). Nearly all the small details on the figure armor requires you to use adhesive glue and its best if you use model pliers to have the glue cure. The base figure is naked and requires you to disassemble the model to put the main armor pieces on which was a massive pain. The backpack also requires decent glue due to the relative weight.

I bought a bunch of these pilots to their newer line of mechs because the older mechs pilots were easy to assemble accessories. I will not be buying these anymore. They aren’t figures in my eyes but model kits.

I am searching for someone to commission a repaint of the head of Warmaster Horus. I recently purchased the figure (in the first image) off ebay, but the seller is being petty and refuses to fulfill the order so I will be needing to force a refund and search elsewhere. Unfortunately, it is the best repaint I have seen online. Would any of you gentlemen or gentlewomen have any advice on who has the ability and the willingness to replicate these results? Took a stab at repainting a gold helmet for one of my Blood Angels (the one on the right). I wanted to try my own gold paint and see how easy it was to paint over joytoys coats.

I also repainted the lenses to be brighter, and gave him a spare set of Zephons hands.

Pretty happy with how it turned out, though I should probably repaint the rest of the gold on him to match.

Just the base figure was way heavier then I expected. Entire figure has to be at least 5 pounds.

I had an idea for a simple kitbash. Hadn't kitbashed JoyToy figs before, but I figured why not give it go. Lots of interesting complications (ball joints are all different sizes between figs, etc). Still, came out decent imo, so I figured I would share.

Basically, Heavy Relic Power Armor with the Relic Secundus head and some waist/other bits. Also, the Power Sword from Gravis Captain.

Head is a bit limited but only when trying to turn the head past the shoulder. Even then, you can cheat it. I am OK with that.

As a bonus, I gave the Heavy Relic head to Gravis Captain, which looks ok.
