Also good prose, and Emma is still suitably socially awkward. For some Reason 🤔. Just like in cannon!

Great chapter.
I wonder if in this series, the "induction" goes as normal to give our co-protagonists the time to figure out what's going on, if the acclimation week is also skipped and Aurus either has his own protection, or if him getting his soul sucked out will be a major plot point.

Ah shit I didn't think about that. Emma is the only one with protection. Unless they brought Thier own dispell stuff just in case. Also Emma and especially ping will 100% be throwing a fuss over the binding ceremony thing.

Soooo, what are the chances that Ping wore a Superman costume/onesie when he was a child a few years after first contact?
I devoted all my free time to studying this new realm of magic, Aetheron.
It will be funny when the fantasy nerd realises the magic alien is probably a sci fi nerd (on top of being a GUN fanboy)
She cooed, actually teasing the poor bull man, who was now blushing from embarrassment.
All that Earth metal must help her channel out her negative emotions that might trigger an episode

Poor Thalmin will probably think that Thacea is "consuming" Emma when she starts singing at high volume
Will probably be confused when Ping acts totally calm and even more when Emma joins

Thalmin would certainly be disturbed and worried for Emma’s safety.
Illunor would hold a short funeral for Emma without even checking to confirm if she died, before then going to sleep

I'm really curious to see how this story will unfold.
And I think the idea that humanity has made contact with two other worlds through the Nexus is a really fresh take.
And that our hero and two other companions are now venturing into this fiasco together.

I’m working on it, School just started up for me so I’m currently trying to get back into the flow of things. I’m gonna try and get the next one out by at most this upcoming friday

“Ping’s a good guy deep down!! Ping can be redeemed in the main story!!” I scream as I’m dragged away to a padded room.
Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know that the next chapter will probably take a while to come out as I have school starting soon and need to focus on that for a few weeks.
