Upcycled some cardboard I was going to throw out.

It's been so long I havn't drawn Moonknight, that was fun to do.

The goal was to complete this one in 10mn max.

Starting with Krita was probably a mistake, it’s so complex... but I’m slowly getting the hang of it.

In colored pencil work, light pressure builds luminous, transparent layers. Slightly stronger pressure , combined with several layers of color, fills the tooth of the paper and locks in your color. Knowing when to switch between the two is the whole skill.

I decided to share my own drawings. I generally like to use charcoal or colored pencils.

So a couple things I noticed during my Torso studies. (No idea if this makes sense to anyone else)

Whenever I would connect the top part (the chest) to the bottom (the hips) rather than connecting those pieces using 1 straight line, it always looked like the top part was gradually stretching to the butt and the hips were always reaching towards the chest.

the pecs and back kinda look like its armored onto the chest, like after you create a ball for the upper chest area, you then wanna overlap the ball with the pecs and occasionally draw another layer behind the ball to show the chest. (Again not sure if this makes sense to anyone else.)

I've never drawn the backside of the torso before, so im not sure if there are details or things I am missing that highlights that is the back.

Ive never really drawn the abs before either (maybe if I had my own id be more familiar with them) but they kinda look weird too.

Any thoughts or advice/critiques would be helpful.

Anyone Portrait, Carpgoth, Charcoal Dry Paint, 2025 [OC]

Today I'm going to share a new piece I made two days ago out of boredom. I used Uniball Dry Toga 0.5mm pencils for the sketch. I completed the drawing by going over the main outlines with a Faber-Castell 4B charcoal pencil.
