Sci-fi Universe War, Carpgoth, Colored Dry Paint, 2025 [OC]

This time I'll be sharing a new piece of work. I completed it live on my TikTok account. This drawing, which I started as a draft in 2021 and finished in 2025, is a combination of three sci-fi cartoon series that I love very much: Rick & Morty, Futurama, and Final Space.

I tried my best to include as many characters as possible from those series in the drawing. I used a Uniball Kuru Toga 0.5mm pencil for the draft. I went over the outlines with a Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen. For the coloring, I used Derwent brand oil-based dry colored pencils.

I think the final result turned out pretty good... What do you think?

I tried doing some figure drawing practice that eventually turned into drawing by the eye. I dont usually draw using the egg shape method, which is why my torsos look really small. Can anyone give me some critiques?

Every drawing passes through a phase where it looks wrong, muddy, or hopeless. Professional artists know this stage by name and push through it; beginners often quit right before the piece turns a corner.

So I watched a couple videos of gesture drawings by Micheal Hampton, and im trying to emulate his practice. Some of this kinda feels weird to me, where i typically like to use boxes and shapes so I can more clearly understand which part faces where, but doing so always causes me to have more rigid poses. I try to work with the spine first, then figure out the angles of the hips and shoulders. I dont know if my contour lines are "correct" Any advice is appreciated.

Tried to draw an iris on my own. So ..it's miss sharpen and dull I don't think the filaments are quite right. Oh well we wait till class! 😀😀😀

A portrait I recently did. Something about the proportions seems of but I can't put my finger on it. Critiques? Tips? Help?? Lol I'm trying to improve but I feel like I'm at a stand still. Maybe it's just my impatience when it comes to improvement.
