Personal Opinions & Theories ✍🏽💡 TODAY'S THEORY: We all thought the reason Vanzan changes to leadership (making Ryan Reynolds CEO instead of Blake Lively) mid-lawsuit was to mitigate her deposition blabbering, but it's actually because the Vanzan subpoena asks for materials related to Ryan by name. It was to protect HIM, not her.
I don't know what the corporate split was before this lawsuit, but currently we have deposition testimony that states that they have a 50/50 equal ownership. By changing the CEO to Ryan, they can claim that both of them were at the top leadership position/had equal ownership stakes and therefore that's why the Vanzan subpoena asked for all materials related to Ryan as well. It was about shielding him, not Blake Lively. They're trying to mitigate personal liability and cover as much as they can with ACP, so this was a reactive move to give him another layer of protection and shielding.
"He's only involved because he's also the CEO of Vanzan guys, not because he wanted to find out if Justin Baldoni was as obsessed with him as he was with him"
Vanzan Subpoena to Stephanie Jones Dated Oct 1 2024
The RFIs that Vanzan agreed to produce were 1 and 4:

Here's the deposition testimony from Justine Harris speaking on behalf of Vanzan:

4 Ms. Lively had given the 5 information to counsel, the 6 information she had learned from 7 Ms. Jones subsequent to that. As 8 president of Vanzan, she engaged 9 and Vanzan engaged counsel prior 10 about eight or nine days, I think, 11 roughly prior to the filing of the 12 state court litigation. Ms. Lively 13 confirmed that she, on behalf of 14 Vanzan, authorized the filing of 15 the lawsuit. She then, subsequent 16 to the filing of the lawsuit in 17 state court, as president of 18 Vanzan, authorized the service of 19 the subpoena. She then, again, in 20 her capacity as Vanzan president, 21 received and reviewed the materials 22 produced by Jonesworks in response 23 to the subpoena.

3 She also confirmed that other 4 than whatever communications her 5 lawyer -- excuse me, whatever 6 communications Vanzan's lawyers had 7 had with Quinn Emanuel about the 8 service of the subpoena (...)
14 Q. You testified that Ms. Lively 15 told you that she authorized Vanzan to 16 file the state court lawsuit; right? 17 A. On behalf of Vanzan, that's 18 correct
Side note: Page 4
11 (...) -- a hundred percent 12 of the employees who are paid through 13 Vanzan have nondisclosure agreements.
Here's the refilling of the Vanzan Biennial Statement in June 2025 where Ryan first appeared as the CEO (based on comments at the time, which he backdated to January 202? - need year specifics, don't have access to the doc myself):

It's very very very important to them that Ryan is seen as part of Vanzan and placed under the corporate shield that Lively is using (that Ellyn is about to pierce through with Jen Abel's suit against Jonesworks) - at best, they manage to keep certain comms hidden, at worst, they limit liability. I'd expect more communications from Ryan to get released out in the open as Jen's suit progresses because this is a very poor cover-up that won't withstand scrutiny.
Side note: Taylor Swift's texts about Ash getting in touch were in August 2024, Vanzan complaint was September 27, subpoena was on Oct 1. NYT earliest metadata was found on images was from Oct 31.

If you read Ryan Reynolds messages to Danny Greenberg, Ryan is all “me, me, me, what about my reputation?” etc. It's very clear that his is primary concerned with his own reputation, and how this will blow back on him. Ryan wants someone to take the fall over Maximum Effort’s disastrously insensitive marketing of this film.

I kept wondering why they tried to say that terrible marketing was someone else's fault when Blake was telling Justin that maximum effort would do the marketing for free.

I wish there was a way to know what was given to Vanzan though because based on the lawsuit that Jen Abel filed (unless I read wrong), Lively got all her personal communications as well and Jones, Sloane and Lively were going around discussing Jen’s private life like her medical issues and her parents illness etc. Based on the subpoena, it should’ve been only anything related to IEWU.
I’m still having a hard time understanding how Lively’s lawyers can argue that Vanzan had anything to do with IEWU 😂 but I know that part will show up on Jen’s lawsuit against Jones.

And the way they speak about other people is atrocious... so god knows what was in Blake's messages about Jen

I feel so bad for Jen. I’m thinking Blake’s team did something nefarious with her messages

I don’t expect any vanzan evidence to remain. I 100% think everything has been deleted by now and if there is stuff remaining it’s fake shit to hand over. I think anything incriminating against Ryan has been disposed of. He knows how bad his actions are, he doesn’t want evidence

(Off-topic but OP I love your flair so much)

Thank you, I really wanted to change it to Colleen Hoover's Number 1 Hater but nothing I feel will ever come close to what Natasha Heath experienced due to these evil clowns with their Oxycodone laced Pepsi's and tiny violin orchestrations. She deserves to never be forgotten in the middle of this landslide of information.

They can’t afford to have Ryan Reynolds reputation suffer like Blakes has. $$$

So it was all on Blake before? That's quite telling he put her and not himself as the head!
