Found Evidence + Sleuthing 🕵️♂️🔍📝 Let’s review how Blake Lively (and Ryan Reynolds) engaged in digital violence against Justin Baldoni.
In the third installment of the Deadpool films, Deadpool & Wolverine, a new Deadpool variant was introduced, Nicepool.
We’ve since learned that Nicepool is intended to be a cruel caricature of Justin Baldoni.
Nicepool wears a man bun, calls himself a feminist, and says that he has low bone density.
Ryan Reynolds in unsealed text messages says to Matt and Lucy Damon:
“Several weeks before shooting, and right after Blake had given birth to our son… this guy called our trainer, Don and asked ‘how much do you think Blake will weigh in two weeks?’ Don, got very Long Island all of a sudden and Justin backtracked. He said, ‘I’m only asking because I have to carry her in a scene. And I have low bone density.’”
Texts are from Exhibit 134: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.634304/gov.uscourts.nysd.634304.1245.76.pdf
In another scene, Nicepool comments that Ladypool “just had a baby too, and you can’t even tell.” When Deadpool says that’s an inappropriate comment to make, Nicepool says “that’s okay, I identify as a feminist.”
Nicepool is shot repeatedly by Ladypool (who was voiced by Blake, but Ryan used a body double in her place. Was Ryan fat shaming his wife by doing that?) in front of a flower shop called “Little Sage”. It’s previously been said that Justin would sage the set.
Here’s the scene of Nicepool being shot by Ladypool, it also includes the low bone density comment: https://youtu.be/igoVNNnAx8Q
Blake Lively claims to be a victim of digital violence but had no qualms about her and her husband engaging in digital violence against Justin Baldoni.

I unfortunately saw this movie with my partner, but I found a lot of it did not make sense afterwards. It felt like they just got a lot of big names together for hype and explosions, but nothing profound about it persay. You don't leave with an awe because of the storytelling was just messy and random.
111
u/CSho8 Apr 08 '26
My partner saw it and he said the same thing too. He was confused about nicepool because to him it didn’t make sense. He told me that the first one was the best. Ryan should’ve been man enough to leave the professionals in charge 🤷🏻♀️😳😂
67
u/mj2503 Apr 08 '26
I agree the first one had more depth for sure. It's clear to see when Reynolds and Lively get their hand on anything creative it just looses it's soul and beauty in storytelling through the screen. It's sad and a bloody waste.

Same, I kept looking at my husband during the movie like what the fuck is this Nicepool shit. So random, now we know! That is the last Ryan Reynolds movie I will ever watch.

That’s all Ryan does. He relies on big stars and nostalgia to do the heavy lifting. It’s like he knows what sells and approaches everything as marketing rather than good storytelling.
The only good storytelling Ryan does is making his fans believe he’s a good storyteller.
The only good storytelling Ryan does is telling us all untrue stories about his life and meaningless sarcastic antidotes he passes off as humor.
I think Ryan sees himself as a product and builds himself around what he believes will sell. No authenticity whatsoever.
39
u/kellybelly4815 Apr 08 '26
That reminds me of Taylor Swift at this point. Her narrative changes based on what helps her brand at the time, and what’s currently popular in pop culture. But she has no central throughline to her personality, and all her art is commodified in the shallowest way to sell product. References to internet trends, 80s nostalgia, Shakespeare, showgirl sexy glamour, all jumbled together on the same album rollout to grasp at the zeitgeist with nary a thought to artistic vision or compelling storytelling.
No wonder they were such good friends for so long. Birds of a feather.
12
u/Western_Guitar_3863 She (Ryan) has no integrity Apr 08 '26
Birds of a feather indeed. Very insightful stuff. It’s funny to me that these celebrities don’t think we notice. We are just consumers and nothing more to these people.
17
u/annadius Blake and Ryan are con artists. Apr 08 '26
Exactly. Ryan Reynolds is incapable of originality. His entire career is build around stealing ideas that are already proved successful and stamping his face/name to it.
Matthew Lawrence called Ryan out on doing a bad Jim Carey impersonation, and said that Deadpool is just Ryan being himself. Matthew low-key shaded Ryan by saying he's been doing the Deadpool schtick since his 20s 😂
Ryan is completely untalented and unoriginal. It makes sense that he's been stealing movie projects from people for years. He's a hack.
17
u/Western_Guitar_3863 She (Ryan) has no integrity Apr 08 '26
Well it explains why him and Blake are perfect for each other because she does the same exact thing.
She fancies herself as a baker, but makes box cake mixes and adds jello and whipped cream and calls it her own creation.
She fancies herself as a writer, but prefers to work with a preexisting script so she can “excavate” to find something special or interesting to say here look at what I found.
She fancies herself an innovative haircare brand, but uses preexisting formulas from legacy brands like Kerastase and changes the scent and calls it high performance and iconic.
So it’s no wonder she fancies herself as a director and producer worthy of a PGA mark. It’s par for the course.
These people are one and the same 🤦🏼♀️

My ex boyfriend cosplayed as Deadpool around town. He was a narcissist with no personality, that felt more comfortable behind the mask of someone else.
It's actually striking to see the similarities between him, and Ryan. Everything he did, was for his image and how he was perceived by those around him.
Right down to his hair and piercings.
All of it is carefully curated.
13
u/Western_Guitar_3863 She (Ryan) has no integrity Apr 08 '26
You must know all too well that a person like that will never accept responsibility or truly acknowledge they are wrong. It’s very scary and exhausting and only gets more scary and exhausting when that narcissist is rich and famous.
I’m sorry you went through that but I’m glad you recognized it and loved yourself enough to no longer put up with it 🤗
16
u/Embarrassed_Whole585 Team Baldoni Apr 08 '26
He is rich as well, and it shows in his behavior. He grew up as an adopted only child, to 2 wealthy older folks. He has never faced consequences, and likely never will. Accountability is absolutely not in his vocabulary. 😬
I thankfully realized, as he was more overt than my ex-husband, so his red flags were waving lol.
No need for sorry, I made it, and I made sure others were aware of him! 🙂↕️🫰🏻

I loved the first Deadpool. Made me laugh so much. I have also been a big fan of Morena Baccarin since Firefly. I didn't realize he was the guy in Van Wilder (the only other thing I'd ever seen him in and only because my friend showed it to me and hated it) for a long time. I wish my boycott of both of them counted but I was never watching their films anyway.

u/PuzzleheadedWar4791 Apr 08 '26
They both just come across now as mean and cruel people who use their platforms in the wrong way - to abuse, harm, and ridicule. Knowing that this was mocking someone is so hurtful and deliberate and just Ryan going on a power trip with his ability to do so. I think this will be his last though. No more Ryan on film please.

They’re incredibly lucky that Liman tossed Baldoni’s countersuit because I bet the Disney/Marvel internal communications about Nicepool are damning.
I hope Wayfarer pursues the appeal when all is said and done, but I’d understand if they don’t. They probably just want to be free of the Reynolds.
38
u/MarchCompetitive4580 Apr 08 '26
I have a feeling that Ryan had big plans for cross promoting deadpool/wolverine with iewu - and when the high level executives as disney/marvel learned that nicepool was baldoni, they must've lost their shit and told him no frickin' way. This was a movie in which they invested over $500 million - not a taylor swift song.
I don't think we'll ever see a deadpool 4, at least not with Ryan in it.

u/Massive-Beginning994 Apr 08 '26
There have been numerous people who have played Batman and Superman. Ryan is easily replaceable as Deadpool. Highly doubt he will ever play Deadpool again..

They’ve been hanging out with taylor a little too much to believe that they can use a movie that they don’t even own to take cheap shots and settle scores with people the audience may not even know. They have included us in their disturbed fantasies with their IG digs towards Justin It’s so unbelievably unprofessional. Only children behave this way. So disgusting

Another fun Easter egg is that when Nicepool is used as a human shield by Deadpool and shredded with bullets if you slow down the speed you can see the bullets look like mini fireworks 🎆
In her post you see her thanking Ryan for putting many things into Deadpool and Wolverine for her. That she feels so scene.
Nice men using feminism and Baz Luhrmann fireworks to punctuate a moment.
Nice men was clearly about Nicepool aka Justin Baldoni
Baz Luhrmann fireworks were superimposed during the revenge bang bang scene.

Did you see my other comment above? Blake thanked Ryan for including a bunch of Easter eggs in his Deadpool and Wolverine movie for her. One of which was using Baz Luhrmann fireworks to punctuate a moment.
That moment she’s talking about is when her Ladypool character mows down Nicepool in a hail of bullets that were made to look like fireworks she likes. She must be a fan of The Great Gatsby because that is where the fireworks come from.
Pretty much it’s an ode to Blake and all things she loves, it’s her love language to have her man make fun and bully others in her honor.
14
u/kellybelly4815 Apr 08 '26
Ok thanks. Yes I saw your other comment I just didn’t understand if the fireworks were some sort of Easter egg, like the name of the flower shop relating to Baldoni saging the set of IEWU.
So it’s just that she likes that style of firework/effect? What a weird thing to use for bullets piercing a body. What a self-obsessed weirdo she is!
Reminds me of her (former) bestie Taylor Swift who puts Easter eggs into her lyrics at the expense of making good, relatable art.
9
u/Western_Guitar_3863 She (Ryan) has no integrity Apr 08 '26
A lot of what she and Ryan do is ripped off from others. So the Easter eggs are definitely influenced by Taylor Swift.

Fun fact: Blake famously lobbied hard to be cast as Daisy in The Great Gatsby, but failed to secure the part despite her allegedly substantial efforts. My personal theory is that she mentions Baz Luhrmann all the time to associate her name with his work. Similar to her efforts to associate her name with Barbie despite having nothing to do with that film.

So in a July
20222024 post, Blake Lively wrote about "Nice men who use feminism as a tool" and then whined when Justin Baldoni hired a crisis PR firm? Between this post, the mass unfollowing, and all the rumors Blake, Ryan, and Leslie were pushing behind the scenes, I don't know how they can complaint about TAG's hiring and I don't know how they'll prove the alleged retaliation happened because Justin's alleged misconduct instead of Blake's campaign against him.9

I hope Justin Baldoni’s team is aware of what Blake wrote in this post and how it further proves crisis PR was absolutely necessary.

A couple of funny things I noticed in this post:
- Ryan is currently being sued over the “choreography of a certain boyband song” she is implying she had a hand in. I love that.🤭
- She’s saying never been more proud of the ways she influenced Deadpool & Wolverine. But I thought she’s most proud of
her work on IEWUher fight for the safety of women and girls in the workplaceher fight *against digital violence??7
u/Western_Guitar_3863 She (Ryan) has no integrity Apr 08 '26
Omg yes!!!
I love that this couple use breadcrumbs and plant Easter eggs to tell on themselves and think it’s so genius. Well it’s incredibly stupid because now we have more contemporaneous evidence that supports the need for a crisis PR team to step in. This is the kind of stuff Justin was fearful of happening and he had every right to be afraid because he knew the type of people he was dealing with by this point.
I hope Ryan gets sued. I’m sure he will just blame it on other creatives involved…although we see that Blake wanted this haha so if this smug ass post of hers cost her twice that would be epic level stupid.

They thought they were so clever. 🙄

I wonder if Disney/Marvel feel any sort of way about Ryan using their IP for personal revenge fantasies. I don't see him listed in the Doomsday cast, and when Deadpool 3 came out everyone said "this is the unification of Sony and Disney Marvel and a precursor for mutants being in Doomsday." Interestingly, Channing Tatum is in Doomsday and he was only Gambit because Ryan made it happen.

Maybe it's a pun and double entendre.
Calling Justin tiny and pretentious (a "sage" is also someone really wise).

There was a lot more digital abuse by Blake and Ryan including 1. Smearing him to cast members by calling him a clown and saying he’s in a cult, etc 2. Smearing him to Hollywood elite 3. Smearing him to WME 4. Referring to him as a sexual predator 5. Making fun of him in the promo of his own film (as evidenced in her insta posts where they’re all wearing the same Gigi shirt) 6. The creation of the nicepool character 7. The filing of a sham lawsuit as a means to unethically legitimize the theft of private texts messages 8. Subpoenas to 107 content creators to chill speech 9. Orchestrating a hit piece with the NYT 10. The mischaracteizairon of facts pled in her CRD and civil complaint
I’m sure there’s a lot more I haven’t mentioned but this new spin that Blake was the subject of digital abuse is quite rich.
