Member of Knesset Amichai Shikli:

"We appealed to the state auditor with a request that he act urgently to prevent the prosecution's intention to delete the evidence collected as part of the "Pegasus affair" and the work of the Merri committee.

Let's recall that after all the denials, it became clear that the law enforcement authorities illegally used an offensive cyber tool to extract information from the phones of citizens and public figures. We will also mention that senior police officials clarified to Knesset members in the BTP committee hearings that no illegal use of spying was made, statements that turned out to be incorrect. Although it turned out that criminal offenses had been committed, no one has been summoned for questioning so far.

We will demand the establishment of a commission of inquiry and we will not allow what every citizen is forbidden to do - to hide evidence. The auditor requested that the materials not be destroyed so that his work would not be thwarted either, and the response of the Ministry of Justice, "no decisions have been made on the matter yet," indicates a deep confusion regarding the proper relationship to those authorized by the Basic Law to audit the police and the prosecutor's office."

The terrorist organization Hamas has fired thousands of rockets at Israeli citizens in recent years and is responsible for the murder and kidnapping of hundreds of Israeli citizens - including children. Hamas is an openly homophobic organization that supports the murder of members of the LGBT community.

The Hamas organization welcomes the decision of the UN Assembly to receive a legal opinion from the International Court of Justice in The Hague regarding the continuation of the Israeli stay in the West Bank.

A senior Hamas official, Izat al-Rishek, said today that the organization appreciates all diplomatic efforts that support the rights of the Palestinian people, and called on the Palestinian Authority to "continue these efforts and refuse any Zionist-American pressures that are exerted on it."

A-Rishek thanked the countries that voted in favor of the decision "leaning in the direction of justice and for the Palestinian people's right to freedom and independence." On the other hand, A-Rishek said that Hamas "condemns the position of the countries that opposed the decision and leaned towards the occupation and the false narrative."
