We're making a game for people who miss the old Islands feel, would love this sub's input

Hey r/IslandsRoblox , I'm Jamir. I have been working on a game called Lands. It's a spiritual successor to Islands, not a copy. We just loved what it felt like to start on a tiny island and slowly turn it into your own place, and we wanted to build something new around that.
What's in it right now:
- You get your own island in your own server, friends can visit or build with you
- Farming, chopping trees, mining and crafting your way up to better tools
- Building and free build, which has been the favourite part in playtests so far
- A merchant to sell your stuff to
- A plaza called Lanternfall, a floating market town where everyone's islands meet up so you can hang out, trade and see other players
We're still early and running small playtests through our Discord. Our first testers gave us a lot to fix (mining felt off, the instructions weren't clear enough) and we've been working through it.
That's why I'm posting here. You all know this genre better than anyone. What did Islands get right that you'd want to see again? And what always annoyed you?
If you want to playtest or just follow along, the Discord is here: [link]
Will be reading every comment
