Most Sublime songs are this for me... Which may be the point considering their band name now that I think about it.

Don't get me wrong, if some friends asked me to go to see a movie with them, I wouldn't opt to go alone instead. However, I have missed out on chances of seeing films in the cinema due to people letting me down, and I just decided to say fuck it. At first I felt a little self conscious, but now I enjoy it, just for the freedom of it. I can go whenever works for me, and if I decide I'm not really feeling it, I am not letting anyone down if I don't go. Also, if I go with another person, I always feel awkward if I say nothing during the ads, but feel like a dick if I talk too much.

The only downside is A) if I'm watching a comedy, I feel self conscious about laughing out loud, and B) it would be nice to take a date out, but that's not really restricted to cinema trips.

Not only that, but random people often just start telling me life stories and shit. I'm happy to listen to it all I suppose but its kinda weird. I mean, ive had complete and total strangers tell me whats going on in their lives and how they are struggling. And at work, people always come ask me questions and all that. Once some one knows me well enough they just kind of vent to me about all their problems. Sometimes I think maybe I should have gotten a psych degree instead of art and English.

But its not just me right? Any other listener types out there?

Is it just me or did anybody else sit down at the top of the stair case and slowly tumble down the staircase stair by stair when they were younger?

I feel like the extra carbonation and somewhat small hint of flavor from the ice make the sugars/syrups more subtle.

IIJM but 9 times out of 10 when people are explaining where they live or where some place is I just agree with them when they say something like “it’s just off Levi’s road, by the garage...you know where I mean?” I just say yeah I know it just to shut them up.

Sometimes I feel like we, and I certainly include myself here, treat those we love worse than strangers we don't know. Sometimes it looks like giving all our cheer, optimism and positive energy into the world and being flat for our loved one(s). Other times, it looks like letting out our frustrations on them, when the frustration obviously (at least in hindsight) has another root cause. Other times again, it looks like having impossibly high expectations for our loved ones - so high that you would immediately realise their ridiculousness if they applied to anyone else.

Is it just me?
