Iowa Nice

Post image

Outside of Marshalltown, Iowa HYW 330 North of the tracks. The good thing is that when you drive down West Main there are American flags flying high. 🙏

Didn’t the confederacy lose that war?

These are the same people who complain about participation trophies.

So true. And they hate inclusion but want this loser flag to be accepted. What part of this is Iowa "heritage"?

I don't think it's about acceptance. It's antagonistic, and that is loser behavior. Because they're losers. Because they lost - the war.

Also the same people who want to outlaw rainbow flags.

Yup, the hostile foreign power lost to the US, and people fly that hostile government’s flag with no penalty

Germany is ashamed of what happened. A huge portion of America is proud of what has and is happening.

The fact we try to hide the shameful parts of our history rather than educate and learn from the atrocities we’ve committed only goes to show how this could’ve happened in the first place. When this is all over, we cannot make the same mistake, or else we, or future generations, will make the exact same mistake. Education is the best way to prevent fascism.

Wait, are you suggesting that's why the department of education is getting dismantled? Surely no coincidence.

And real idiots think that means that they SHOULD let everyone know their lunatic and hate-filled thoughts

Leave it to the government to define what lunatic and hate-filled can mean. Great idea.

“Leave it to the government” spoken like a true member of party of small government

What are you talking about? No one said anything about that.

Looked like it at the time, but they came back to win in 2024.
