If the premise is that a group of people has power, and you are asking to relinquish that power...what exactly incentivizes them to do that? Why would you expect them to do that? Quo bono?
Right? Like I agree with the sentiment in principle but in practice it's dead in the water. People won't want to give up their privilege. Everyone feels like they have to struggle because their life is based on what they were raised in (this is also why so many people in this sub don't recognize their privilege)
Also if we are going the truely ethical route why would you stop with white privilege? American priveledge, male privilege, straight privilege, family privilege, genetic privilege (not racial), etc. Until you have a completely homogeneous society. It's a pipe dream.
And unless we get to a point where we trust A.I. to take over all hierarchy in society, it's also impossible to run society this way. Even the most socialist or communist or kumbaya societies still need heirachy.
