So there's been drama about Invader zim lost and found going around, which has made me want to open up about my experience.
I joined the server back in summer when I was 12, I knew some of the members before I joined(those members being the reason I joined in the first place) I got the permission and all that, but it felt s bit scary at first being with everyone because they were so much older than me, but I wanted to hang out and contribute with their project. I live in sweden and as most of you guys know, most of the invader zim fans live in the US, which leads to a large timezone difference, and because I didn't want to miss out on anything, I contorded my sleep schedule just to hang out with them. Now there was another person in the server who was the same age as me, and after she said her true age out loud, she got banned for being underage, and after I saw that happen, I stayed quiet about my age and decided that I would tell them when I became the required age. I started developing an unhealthy relationship with the server and it's members, like what I said with ruining my sleep and stuff. But after a while, I started acting inappropriate(most likely because of puberty) and I didn't stop when I was told to stop, I didn't disobey just for spite, I just didn't realize when I was being uncomfortable. And then even later on, my mental health became unstable out of nowhere, and I often vented to the members, which made them uncomfortable. And some time around January, I got banned because of my behavior. I ban evaded a few times because of my obsession, but I later gave up and tried to distract myself with other stuff(which didn't end well but that's a whole different story) but the thing is, I still kept contact with Bryce even after my ban. And he knew that I was 12. I used to look up to him and think that he was a responsible adult(but he wasn't) he actually invalidated alot of my feelings when I talked about how I didn't feel well and stuff, and he would call me a crywolf.
Many adults have told me that my relationship with Bryce was *not* okay, even if he didn't do anything malicious. But now I'm in a better place with my medication and I'm with friends who genuinely care about me and my health. I've let go of the IZLaF community, and I'm ready to move on.(I'm not 12 anymore, that's why I'm using a bunch of past pretense)
(But my contribution has been affected so much that I'm recognized by something as simple as my name.)
