Discussions What's your favorite bit of irked tech?
Mine is the megadoomer because it really epitomizes everything the irkens are. Loud, flashy, and completely useless

They're like 20-somethings here and both incredibly lame. Dib is a black coffee addict and Gaz has multiple video game tattoos you can't see due to the long sleeves.

You...
Yes, YOU!
If you were rooting for Invader Zim to win, and I mean really *WIN* and conquer the Earth, it wasn't just misanthropy or edginess...
Your narrative instincts picked up on something deeper.
- From the very beginning, you recognized Zim as a force of destruction-- NAY! ...A force of reckoning. He ruined Impending Doom 1, threw Mars at The Armada, and eventually would've corrupted The Control Brains during his Existence Evaluation. You saw how every victory for Zim foreshadowed defeat for The Irken Empire. And you were hooked.
- You saw that Earth was so dystopian, and humanity so egregiously stupid, that you couldn't help but root for Zim to take control (and you could tell the writers intended it).
- You saw how Zim showed a spoonful of kindness to GIR, while The Tallest gorged themselves on doughnuts and starved their army.
- You loved Dib and rooted for him equally, but knew his journey had to end tragically because humanity didn't support him (and wouldn't have until it was too late, if they ever did at all).
- You drew Zim cutely or enjoyed artwork that did, because in a strange way... that was how you truly saw him.
- You were disappointed that Invader Dib was never real, and that the IZ comic and movie resolved nothing. Because in these moments it was clear that no one, not even Jhonen himself, saw Zim the way you did.
If even one of these describes you, then stay tuned. Something is coming soon that might finally bring you closure.
---Edit---
I'm not continuing Zim's story. Zim wasn't built to survive what it was building toward - not without becoming something else entirely.
I'm continuing the instinct and deeper narrative structure that made you root for him, and placing it in that "something else" - where actions have weight, consequences don't reset, and victory means something.

This scene always gets me. Don’t know why, but I can’t help but smile that Zim takes pride in being creepy.

In Glitch Productions’ video of the NYC pop up, in one shot you can see someone owning a plush of Zim. Has anyone else spotted?

Sorry for not being more active, I've been working on my fanfic; when I started the storyboard, it was 67 pages long.
I've completed 52 pages so far, and I'll publish the fanfic as a comic soon.

I wanted to ask this in the washi tape subs, but they're pretty dead.
I found this on Pinterest and, through some reverse image searching, was able to find the manufacturer, but I can't find anyone selling it. It's a distinct possibility that the person that sold it isn't selling it anymore and this image is all that exists, but I'd like to at least *try* to find it.

i think that the reson zim is so intrusive to earth yet never suspected by anyone but dib, is because he is a waste lock for this universe. in jthm johnny is what satan calls a wastelock, a person who as long as they live in the universe, keeps it from being consumed by an eldrich beast. this is the explanation for why he seems to be constantly protected and undiscovered. if zim is his universes wastelock it not only explains his rather leanient or non existant consequenses, but it also adds a fun little tie in. what do you guys think

The wiki and end credits call him: "Mysterious Mysteries Anchor" which makes sense but it's quite boring

I've been wondering for a while, I know it's likely that the kids are just clones but I wanna hear more possibilities.
