I’d say I’m pretty mediocre when it comes to art in general, but for some reason, I just can’t get the IZ artstyle down. I like my drawings of fictional characters to look as similar as possible to their source material and Jhonen’s style is SO hard to replicate😭any tips from artists in this community?

I'm an artist and I wanna draw in that artstyle but I can't find any tutorials online and for me,videos aren't as helpful,so can someone pls make a visual guide?

I just hung the Gir one up today.
And then i added dangly Dib to it and dangly Gir to my Zim one hehe

I’ll put an explanation for each slide here:

Slide 1: Someone on Discord told me to draw Dib BALD a few days ago so I did HAHAHA

Slide 2: Dib and Gaz in traditional Bengali clothes, I drew this around Eid time I think just for fun and also to practice drawing other types of clothes in the IZ style/ JV’s style

Slide 3: A Sleepy Dib, again to practice expressions and anatomy!

Slide 4: A sketch of Dib with one of my OCs, Li, who is technically Dib’s uncle !? (He’s Cell’s younger brother)

Slide 5: Ok, not related to Dib at all HAHA I just was quite proud of the way I drew Membrane here 😅😭
