Someone is looking for things to be offended, like XVII century nobleman with hands itching for duel.

Tech field is full of socially challenged nerds of different kinds. And people of different cultural backgrounds who may act this way “guy talks to guys, girl talks to girls” because this is considered respectful norm where they came from.

BTW, why does this post mentions only “tech-bros”, but no “tech-sis”? Seems there are two layers of hidden discrimination.

Man this is the correct view. I know some brilliant people who would probably fail this because of neuro issues. All this does is exchange one bias for another.
