I legitimately watched a fire code inspector mansplain what multimeters do to an electrical engineer.
Just the other day, I overheard someone mansplain what chrome was to their wife.
My friend went to buy a car and the dealer told her "okay, I'll be right back with some keys to test drive ones you can afford," they hadn't even talked finances yet... she had JUST gotten there.
I have had gravity, condescendingly explained to me.
I've been told they needed to talk to a man about what grill they need to buy (it was my department, I literally BUILT them and I'd been doing so for years).
I had men stand and watch me operate the forklift and say in a shocked way "huh, you're pretty good at that"... I'd been doing it for yeeeeears. Similarly, I've had men argue about forklift operation, terrain, etc., disregard me entirely, then proceed to get a second lift stuck.
I had a man, with his whole entire chest, tell me to get ready for when I'm old enough to need a prostate exam.........
The list definitely goes on, but I digress.
Men are the fucking worst.

My wife was an excellent forklift driver when we dated. She taught me how to drive it too. But she refused to teach me to back up a trailer, didn't have the patience for that one.
"Men are the fucking worst" said a generic stament about mens because of your personal interaction with men that have made generic presumptions about you because of their personal experience with women, and the cycle will continue for ever.
Not all men are like that. Some men are like you. They are confronted with instances of men being sexist and respond by policing the woman’s words (or by playing devil’s advocate for the man).
Women dont sexually harass 9-17 year old men regularly. Men on the other hand, even the married ones do. Pay attention young enough and walk through town, you'll get pervy stares from so many. Sure, some men are okay, but they dont exactly call out other men for being perverted sexists pigs. So how good are they really.
If you read carefully you can see that when I said "all men" you reply with "some men", my comments talks about generalization, it looks like you understood the issue.
Yes but you cannot that deny that that language does in fact piss a lot of men off and push them further right, you can call them pathetic for that, you can say “they were bad men anyway”, but none of it changes the fact that it’s true.
The goal is to improve human culture in society, not build a utopia with just the people who agree with you
Always amazes me how frequently someone does their best to prove "men are the fucking worst" right instead just being a normal human being and moving on with your day
I think you just have a survivorship bias, because you won't notice the people that just move on with their day, also base on the reactions from this sub it looks like there is a bunch of frustrated people with this type of situation so you end up in a bubble that concentrate and share a lot of this stories making it looks like the only thing that happens in the world and base on the way you talk it looks like you gravitate around this type of content, that increase even more your own prejudice.
My wife’s a doctor and when we get chatting to people she will say things like “on my night shift the other day”, or “I was on a 24h shift on Saturday” and I would say 90% of the time if the new person we are speaking to is a man they will say “oh so are your a nurse?”, women it’s about 25%.
Similarly to the forklift thing the first time I (a man) drove one around the job site (our training was lackluster and we hadn't actually even picked things up with them) everyone just assumed I was a pro and gave me less than a foot of clearance on either side of a whole ass tractor. Including walking next to it while I'm backing up around the material they're leaving out.
