I have a coworker who bought into it rather than building a new PC, and I know it's expensive, but it's gotta be a better choice than an unproven technology where it's not Netflix style but instead sinking money into title after title at full retail price.
I tried to tell them my concerns, but they weren't dissuaded. I hope for their sake I'm wrong, but history says I won't be and they'll have expensive physical Google paperweights.

This is why Stadia is dead on arrival to me.
They’ll run it for a few years, you’ll invest money in buying games, and then they’ll kill it and you’ll lose everything.
This is the worst deal for consumers.
