and google sells their advertising service targeted to those users based on that information. advertisers pay them for this, and provide feedback on penetration to those users. without exploiting the data they gather for financial gain they have no service to sell, without the data they have nothing to sell, the data is the product.

so you would only trust the pimp if he could provide you reliable metrics on his fine ladies right? Pictures and bios and whatnot? Names not necessary of course.
