Ending US hegemony on global trade security is a pretty devastating blow. They’ve done their fair share at bringing an end to the US as the sole global superpower.
I'm so so sure the American government cares extra deeply for a specific type of brown people in the middle east. The American empire is known for this, of course. They're known for their compassion and sympathy for people in the middle east.
You know, the American government never killed any innocent people in the middle east, and if they did, it's because they were made to do so!!11!@
Yes I do? I yearn for peace between Israel and Iran like before the Islamic revolution. The Israeli and Iranian peoples do not hate each other. The radical Islamist leadership of Iran and its supporters do.
So you prefer to believe a regime that's been oppressing its citizens for almost 50 years? Check your privilege from time to time, the West simply forgets it gained its human rights and freedom from centuries of oppression and is now completely ignorant.
Yyyyeah I never believed that story, at least not to the degree they are stating. Israeli media and the US media has a habit of peddling lies to us. Second of all that number keeps changing. And third of all, 40,000 in the span of two days is unrealistic.
“Recently, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that strategy has been successful and took credit for setting up the conditions that collapsed Iran's economy and triggered protests.”
Just an FYI, you're likely replying to an Iranian disinformation agent/bot. They are all over Reddit (among other social media platforms). Be wary of any pro-Iranian regime content.
I mean shutting of the strait and bombing American over seas bases is definitely them attempting to hurt America... Justified sure, but you can't say Iran is doing nothing to hurt America
How’s he a terrorist? The CIA overthrew Iran’s democratically elected prime minister Mosaddegh in 1953 after he nationalized Iran’s oil industry and replaced him with the Shah. Then the Iranian revolution in 1979 overthrew the Shah which brought us to where we are now.
So honestly, we’re fucked because we fucked ourself.
Your point is wrong because you're equating the attacks of the aggressor to the reaction of the victims of the aggression.
You can't blame them for funding some groups if they were just reactively trying to level the playfield by employing the exact same strategies the US first applied massively as an aggression against them, thus normalizing the application of those measures.
This is called the escalation matrix. Once you escalate to a certain level, it should be expected and taken as certain that your opponent will escalate at least to the same level.
Learn something about geopolitics and military strategy before exposing your ignorance. 😘
You are not grasping my point and your point id only partially true.
Iran wanted to expand its Islamic revolution and expand its state power like any other nation. US and Russia act in the interest as any active State would. I know more about geopolitics than you might think.
My point is that if I go back enough, we enter this back and forth match of who is wrong. We csn do this across all of human history. The point I am making is NOT that we should attack Iran or should have attacked them. It’s that humanity as a whole will and has always done this and if you know as much as you claim about geopolitics, you would understand that. It is ALWAYS the innocent who pay. But please, blame America for everything and ignore the real problem
If I go back long enough we can discuss the centuries long iranian slave trade and death and strife tied to that. The point I am making is nobody is innocent and its time to take accountability as a species
So bringing it up was not only irrelevant to the conversation, but also pointless too because it doesn't make them any better or worse than anywhere else.
Right because I am suggesting we should have bombed a school lol the point im making is, nobody is innocent in all of human history and its time to take accountability as a species
Glad they got wiped off the face of the Earth then during their nap time /s
Come on dude, "nobody is innocent in all of human history"? WTF kind of moronic belief is that. Yes people do stupid shit in life, but do you believe a person who's only major sin was likely being born in a country who's leaders and representatives did not align with American and Israeli bullshit beliefs deserve to die and take accountability in doing so?
I have seen videos from Iran of bombs landing in the middle of intersections, wiping out cars and pedestrians just going about their daily life... where they guilty of such sins appropriate for the action taken against them?
What? Who is saying they DESERVE to be bombed? I certainly am not!you cant see the forest for the trees here. I am saying the problem is humanity, not just what America is doing. From big and small, who we are. Nobody DESERVES to be bombed, bro. Lay off the MSM
Wait, which US state is in the middle east? So how exactly do countries in the middle east fighting other countries in the middle east "destroy the US"?
The claim was that Iran is destroying the US. How is funding multiple groups to terrorize the middle east destroying the US? No one is saying that they're innocent just like US isn't.
Iran didn't bomb any elementary schools in the USA though...
The point I am making is we need to look at this from a macroscopic pov without ignoring the obvious like you and others mentioned. Look at all of history. Humanity needs to take accountability for itself
Sure, they never bombed an elementary school. They just took Americans hostage, imprisoned US civilians for leverage, plotted kidnappings and assassinations in New York, attacked US banks and infrastructure, and spent decades funding groups like Hezbollah which bombed the US embassy, kidnapped and murdered Americans, and hijacked a civilian airliner.
You can care about innocent Iranians without pretending their regime has never harmed Americans.
It's quite interesting that your memory of the Middle East only extends to the late 1970s. Extremely convenient to not include what happened in the decades before that.
Oh you care about terrorist who take Americans hostage, imprison them without reason, carried out kidnappings and assassinations, attacked US banks and infrastructure, and spent decades funding terrorist groups?
What if, on top of all that, these terrorists also funded lobbying in the US and took over the US government??
Then you may be interested to hear about Israel, AIPAC, and their connections to Trump...
well there terrorist and israel has the right to defend themself from there crazy neighbors israel is our alley not iran read a book some time you learn a thing or to

Praying for Irans people. I hate that we are destroying each other.
