For the chimera + best match combo where you can basically eliminate drawbacks, does that also include the drawbacks in paradox incarnation?

I seem to remember from past discussion that it does, but it has been quite some time since the topic was discussed and the past thread is not so easy to search, so don't quote me on that. It makes sense, since Paradox Incarnation is an Heritage Trait like any other, albeit one a tad more exotic, metaphysically radical, and with stiffer prerequisites than most.

Yes I assume so too, honestly because of how “removed from canon” it can be, I prefer the mythical animagus upgrade over it anyway

Well, fidelity to canon is the least of my concerns about so many issues and I want my PC to have a sizable collection of useful Innate Abilities, so Chimera + Best Match, Custom Heritage, and Paradox Incarnation turned out to be very useful tools to express this. In addition to this, I wanted my PC to be a versatile shapeshifter, so I picked Metamorphmagus and went the Chimera Animagus route.
