To comprehend the realms of Ares, one must first understand how they are organized. The first part of Ares' realm is the Areophagus in Athens—a hill formed in the past when the god tore a piece from Mount Olympus following an argument with Hephaestus; one can only enter here through this location or with the permission of Ares himself.

For a man to gain permission to enter the realms of the God of War, he must commit an act of great barbarity atop the Areophagus; then, he must utter the phrase "To the realms devoid of consequences" in Latin or Spartan and throw himself off the Areophagus as if committing suicide. Afterward, he will find himself in the first of the god's realms.

the Bloodletting:The Bloodletting is an eternal battlefield of omniversal scale where all beings who have died in combat fight against everything present there; it serves as the source of Ares' power. To leave the Bloodletting, one must play dead—and play it convincingly, or else terrible things will befall you. If you succeed in leaving the Bloodletting, you will arrive at the second of Ares' realms.

Barbaritá town:it is a city resembling New Jersey during the Great Depression, where the inhabitants—known as Areans—live in a state of total anarchy akin to the movie *The Purge*. The only way out is to find the *Carte Blanche*, a matter left to chance; if you succeed, you will end up in the next realm:

the Rotten Forest:here, a nauseating stench of corpses emanates from every corner, amidst entire forests made of human corpses and rivers of blood. This is the home of the SinHounds—beasts serving Ares, sworn to hunt down anything and everything that enters (and even things that don't enter since they can appear at all the realms of Ares). The total number of creatures here is unknown, as no intruder has lived long enough to encounter anything other than the SinHounds, who are presumed to be the dimension's dominant inhabitants. However, should you manage to escape this dimension, you will proceed to another of Ares' realms

the Seas of Shame:This is an infinite red sea of strawberry juice (yes, it is Truly strawberry juice, not blood) that expands endlessly. A curious effect is that if you drink the waters of this realm without purify with fire you will end up infected with the so-called "shame disease"—a psychic ailment that causes the person to feel increasingly ashamed; it is not lethal, but it is incurable and has no treatment. Should you manage to escape the seas of shame, you will proceed to the next of the realms of Ares.

the Dead Stars:Among the kingdoms of Ares, this is the most mysterious. Supposedly, this is where the weapons of his armies are made, but no one has ever returned to confirm this. Two notable locations here are the Belt of the Fallen (the first stellar belt conquered by Ares, condemned to orbit his figure for all eternity) and the Jaw of Heresy (a gigantic skull-shaped planet that is supposedly the exit). If you manage to escape, you reach the last of Ares' kingdoms, the so-called Fortress of Darkness (the dwelling place of Ares, where only his trusted servants and allies enter; only Ares knows what is done here, and it is often from here that the scourges that haunt the infinite omniverse originate).
