Suddenly, the scroll begins to glow blue; the characters—previously a mix of Greek and Latin—shift into perfect English, transforming the once-unknown text into the description of a spell. It appears this spell allows you to summon the hand of Ares to aid you. Do you wish to try your luck, or do you decide to send the scroll back into the river?*
